3. New Places.
After the final bell of the day rang I walked towards Eleanor's locker. She was standing there with Perrie and the others. I kept my head down trying to not create attention.
"There you are!" Eleanor said grabbing my hand. "We got to go guys. Talk to you later."
She pulled me along as she walked to her car. Harry was standing there leaning against the car. He smiled at us as we got closer.
"Ready?" He asked.
"Yup." Eleanor smiled.
When we got to her house we went straight up to her bedroom. She jumped on her bed with a big smile on her face. I sat down on the floor and looked at my hands.
"Don't gotta be so shy." Eleanor said pulling me up next to her. "I don't think I have ever heard you talked. Why is that?"
"I was wondering the same thing today in science. She wouldn't say anything. No matter how hard I tried." Harry grumbled.
"Oh yeah Taylor was so made at you because you didn't sit with her." Eleanor laughed. "Oh my gosh! You do know how to talk though right?" Her and Harry's eyes lite up.
I giggled and nodded.
"Then why don't you?" She had a puzzled look on her face.
"Is there something wrong at home?" Harry asked.
I froze. I could feel my body tensing up. I felt someone touching my shoulder. I turned to see Eleanor looking at me with a concerned look.
"There is isn't there?" She said before pulling me into a tight hug.
She was so close to me. I started shaking with fear. What's going to happen now? She pulled away and looked at me again.
"I'll be right back." She said before getting up and going downstairs. I turned my attention back to Harry. He was just staring at me trying so hard to figure me out. After a few minutes Eleanor came back with a bubbly smile on her face.
"My mom said you can stay here tonight." She said sitting back down. "I mean only if you want to I won't force you."
I smiled at her and nodded. I knew I was going to get in trouble but I didn't care. It's happened before with Paige. She hated herself afterwards. Harry stayed for a few more hours before heading home. She gave me a pair of her pajamas to wear for the night. I went to the bathroom to change. After changing I realized that you could see the bruises on my arms and on my chest. I heard the door open. I turned to see Eleanor with widened eyes.
"Oh my god." Was all that escaped her mouth before she wrapped her arms around me hugging me. She told me to go back to her bedroom and she'd be right back. I think she went to tell her mom about my arms and chest.
Few minutes later she came running back in with some lotion it looked like. She handed it to me while I just gave her a puzzled look.
"My mom said to put this on your bruises." She smiled softly at me. I rubbed it on my arms and chest. Then I stopped for a second not knowing if I should put it on my legs, back, and stomach.
"There's more isn't there?" She frowned. "Here I'll help if you want.."
I lifted up my shirt to reveal how bad the bruises actually were. She gasped then started rubbing it on my back while I rubbed it on my stomach and legs. Afterwards I pulled my shirt back down and stared at my feet.
"Who does this?" She asked with concerned.
I didn't say anything for a few minutes. She took the bottle of whatever it was back to her mom. When she came back she sat on the bed next to me.
"M-my F-father...." I mumbled.
Her eyes widened and her mouth dropped. Then she smiled and hugged me tightly.
"You should talk more. You have such a beautiful voice." She giggled. "Then again that is no surprise because you are a very beautiful girl."
She called me beautiful...
"I'm not beautiful..." I mumbled.
"Nonsense! Anyone who told you otherwise is a fool!" She said with a soft yawn at the end. "Lets get some sleep. We have a long day tomorrow."
She was right tomorrow was sports day. It's a day were there is no classes just us watching the football players and soccer players play. Normally I ditched sports day but I think I might just go tomorrow.
