Everyone was very hyped about the homecoming rally. We got called down the gym by classes. I stood on the back bleacher awkwardly alone until I felt Zayn hug me. I smiled as the crowd started cheering. The cheerleaders were in the middle of the gym dancing and cheering. I turned my head to see Benjamin heading up to Zayn and I.
"I'm surprised you're not a cheerleader." Ben said.
"I don't like things like that." I laughed.
"Interesting." He smiled. "Hi I'm Ben, Kenzie's step brother." He extended his hand to Zayn.
"Hello I'm Zayn." Zayn smiled and shook his hand.
We turned our attention back to the floor as the lights dimmed and the soccer boys ran out. Everyone started cheering at the top of their lungs. The second to last one to enter was Harry. He looked drained. He also looked very ill. I wonder if he's alright.
Alex came along with Ben and I to cheer on Phoebe. As they took a seat I realized something wasn't right. The cheerleaders are always out here greeting the crowd. I headed into the school and wandered the halls until I came across them. Eleanor was on the ground coughing. She looked very pale. There was no doubt she was ill. She was perfectly fine earlier what happened.
"What happened?" I asked.
"That whore bag..." She coughed.
"Taylor?" I questioned.
"She poisoned Elle." Perrie frowned.
"What are we going to do? We can't go out there without Elle, we won't have a full squad." Jade said.
"Kenzie..." Eleanor looked up at me with puppy eyes.
"Oh no! Absolutely not!" I waved my arms.
"Please you're the only one besides the girls who knows the routine."
"Fine..." I groaned and sighed. "Where's my sister?"
"Phoebe?" Selena questioned and I nodded.
"Kenny!" I turned my head to see Phoebe waving me over to her. I followed her until we ran into Harry. He looked very very ill. "He's burning up badly."
"What happened Harry.." I asked putting my hand on his forehead.
"P-poi...son..." His voice was very weak.
"He can't play like this.." I frowned.
"Well without him they aren't a full team. They won't be able to play." Phoebe frowned.
"Is there anyone else who could take his place?"
"Ben! He used to play before he left!" She smiled and ran off to find Ben.
"Kenzie here." I looked up to see Perrie holding out an uniform. I sighed and went to the bathroom then changed into it. I looked completely ridiculous. I tied my hair back into a ponytail then headed back out to the girls. We warmed up before running out onto the field getting the crowd pumped up for the boys. I noticed Eleanor was taking pictures of me and Harry couldn't stop looking at me. I watched as the boys ran out onto the field. Liam and Niall stopped and took a second glimpse before smiling then winking at me. I blushed. I never realized how much of a work out it was to cheer. We won the game. It was 12 to 5. The crowd was so hyper. As everyone left the field I let out a sigh and waited for Eleanor.
"You are going to delete those." I said.
"Oh come on you look adorable!" She protested. "Lets go congratulate the boys."
"Are you feeling better?" I asked.
"A bit but Lou still wants to take me to the hospital to get checked out along with Harry."
We walked the halls heading to the locker room. I had totally forgot about the cheerleading uniform I was wearing until we entered the locker room and the boys started whistling at me.
"You feeling better babe?" Louis asked kissing her cheek.
"A bit." She smiled softly at him.
"Lets go get Harry and get you guys to the hospital."
"No I'm gonna stay with Ben and Phoebe. Let me know how everything turns out though." I smiled at her. She nodded and they left.
"Thought you didn't cheer." I turned around to see Ben smiling.
"I had to do what I had to do." I shrugged.
"She looks great though!" Phoebe said taking a picture of us.
"I agree." I turned around to see Liam sitting on the bench shirtless smiling at me. Then I felt someone wrap their arms around me. I turned my head to see Niall as he leaned his head on my shoulder.
"You did wonderful tonight Kenzie." He kissed my cheek then walked away. Wow boys sure are strange creatures.
