The Unforgiven Angel

An Angel of Christmas called Faith, has disobeyed God. Those who disobey God are not easily
forgiven. Jesus takes her down to earth, and dumps her there. While on earth she must help
seven random people to make their Christmas happy once more. But she has no idea who these people are that need her help. Even if she does find them, how can she help them all before Christmas day? She only has one week to obey God, otherwise she is thrown out of Heaven forever. She wil be stripped of her immortality, and lose her beautiful wings. She will be made to walk the earth as a human, till the day she dies.

9. The Christmas Play

Faith was walking past a theatre with her wings out-stretched, when a man in a buissnes

suit came bursting out of the doors making her jump. "Your dressed perfectly!" Faith said

with a surprised expression on her face "well thank you". The man said in an urgent whisper

"look I need your help urgently!" Faith said kindly "I will be happy to help if I can.

What is the problem?" The man said quickly "our angel who's meant to be in the play on the

top of the tree fell ill, so we have no angel in our play tonight". Faith said with a smile

"well looks like I'm dressed for the job". The man grabbed her arm, and dragged her inside

as he said "and gorgeous to, the crowd are going to love you".

Just as Faith was climbing the ladder to the platform hidden behind the tree the man said

"just remember your only lines are 'and I'm the christmas angel who sits upon this tree as

bored as can be, while santa flys around the skies in a sleigh I can see'". Faith said "I

know, I know. And I say this after the choir boys mention the angel in their song and point

at me". Faith then said eagerly "then as soon as the children open their presents I say 'A

pretty present for you and me. I'm the guardian of the christmas tree. Many presents lie

below. Many children, their face a glow'". The man then said proudly "you learn fast, but

do you remember the final lines you have ending the play?" Faith laughed and said "how can

I forget those simple lines. 'Merry Christmas everyone'". The man said "Bingo!" As he

shooed Faith up the christmas tree.

The show went really well, and the crowd loved it. The man paid Faith £100 for doing the

job, and another £50 for sparing her time. Maybe he thought she was missing a fancy dress

party. As Faith left she said sarcastically with a cheerful laugh "God, you planned this

didn't you. Stuck up a tree once more, and I loved it!"
