The New Boy

Right, so there's a new boy at my school, his name's George, and he kind of changed my life:)

3. The Rules Of Alster High

A couple of days after meeting George, I was sitting with him on the wall outside of school. We had a packet of Hob-Nobs between us, and I was swinging my legs around whilst doodling in my maths book. Even though me and George had only known each other for not long at all, it was already like we'd been friends forever, and we'd already became best friends. People came up to me a lot and said how great I was to stand up to Craig, but I said I did it because he deserved it. He got excluded, and I was let off with a warning, so the coast is clear for a while.

"I think I need to teach you a thing or two, G" I said to George, who looked at me through his hair.

"Erm, like what?" He laughed.

"Lets say.. the rules of Alster High. You don't want to get caught up with the wrong type of people, like you did the other day." I warned him.

After I'd said that he reached into his bag and pulled out a mini notepad and a pen.

"What's that for?" I asked.

"The rules" He said, " I want to remember them"

I laughed, and he looked at me weird.

"Right, okay. Let's get started"

After about half an hour George's sheet of paper was full with rules, things like: Don't wind up Craig and the 'craigsters' , never sit alone at lunch time (that makes you an easy target, I've been there) and whatever you do, don't get on the wrong side of Mrs O. She's lethal.

"Thanks Katy Kat" Ollie said.

"No problem" I smiled, breaking my Kit-Kat in half and giving him a piece.

He took it and jumped off the wall, landing perfectly straight on his feet. He did a goofy celebratory dance and said, "I landed like a boss" and winked at me before shouting 'see ya' and running off down the road. I laughed to myself, and made my way home.
