2. ♫ Snow Is Falling! ♫ (Luke J.R)

♫ Snow is falling, All around us! Children Playing, Having Fun!

Chapter 1

It was the night before Christmas, a night to remember. Caroline and Luke were sitting near a fire. Which only made this night so much warmer. Luke had the sniffles and Caroline had the giggles. What a joke we would say as the snow began to fall. Outside our square windows was just more and more. The tall Christmas tree stood beside them, hand in hand they looked at each other.

The nice warm fire reflected our feelings, the warmth and the air neglected our temperature. As presents still missing from below the tall tree. “What a wonder, what a joke,”

Luke said with a grin.

Caroline looked up upon the stars with her two precious hands asking to see Mars. As funny as it sounded, Caroline was quite intrigued with the funny wishes she had made before. Christmas was closer than most of us thought, the warm fire burned as we asked to be warmed. Lovely heat, we’d probably say and then of course we’d try to hide away. Due to the coldness and the bitterness of winter, it’s only a matter of time before Santa visits.

“Did you enjoy last Christmas?” Caroline asked.

As Luke looked up thinking about the Christmas he enjoyed the most. Whilst Caroline suggested that it was time for the roast. Cooked turkey and possibly some juice, Caroline looked up and said do you want goose? Luke laughed a little as he heard what she said. It was actually quite funny the way she said it. She said it with her lips changing from bright red to purple. The coldness must be dangerous if its making her lips change colour, the real problem was Caroline and Luke’s Mother.

She said that it was time to go to bed, and even Caroline couldn’t feel the need to sleep. As Luke just wanted to sleep and count sheep. There were differences between the two, although Christmas was about sharing not giving a whack with each other’s shoe. Snow began to fall slower and slower, as the windows got frosted it was time to say Night’

Caroline looked at Luke with pretty clear sight.

Mother came down and asked to speak to Caroline, apparently it was down to her for the reason why Christmas won’t happen this year. Caroline snuffled as Luke shuffled in his sheets. As Mother came down and said: “Don’t make a peep.”

A rule had been made on that early Christmas day, and Caroline still had a whole lot to say…

“Go away Mother, it’s not time for bed, me and Luke are staying up to see Santa,” she said.

“Is that so…” Mother denied, as her voice grew deeper whilst Luke slept inside.

Caroline was grumpy with Mothers bad rules, it was time for some order not full of Mothers Jewels. Luke didn’t care whether Santa came or not, yet Caroline just wanted a reason to stay up.
