Academy for the Dramatic

Candace is finally leaving to go to The Academy for the Dramatic in New York City. This is quite a drastic change for her, because she has always lived in San Fransisco, CA. Will Candace do amazingly in school? Will she do terribly? Maybe some certain guys will be able to help her find her way.

5. You & I

 Niall's POV

I arrived at the hospital, and I went to the front desk.

"Ma'am, what room is Candace in?"

 "Sir, do you know her?"

"Yes, I do, ma'am. Why do you ask?" I asked, my eyes frantically searching the hallway for her.

"Because only family and friends are allowed in at the moment."

"I'm a friend. Can you please tell me where she is?!"

 "Room 12, second floor"

"Thanks" I muttered as I ran to the elevator and went to her room.

When I got to her room, I knocked on the door softly, and quietly entered the room.

 "I figured it out

I figured it out from black and white

Seconds and hours

Maybe they had to take some time" She was singing. Singing beautifully.

 "I know how it goes
I know how it goes from wrong and right
Silence and sound
Did they ever hold each other tight
Like us
Did they ever fight
Like us"
I sang the second verse after. She hadn't noticed me come in, so when I sang she turned her head from the window she was looking through, and stopped singing. Just sitting there in pain looking at me with her sad, blue eyes.

 "You and I
We don't wanna be like them
We can make it till the end
Nothing can come between
You and I
Not even the Gods above can
Separate the two of us
No nothing can come between
You and I
Oh, you and I"
She joined back in with me for the chorus.

She motioned for me to come towards her. She looked in my eyes and said, "Being always alone is difficult, which makes being with someone even sweeter." I smiled softly at her. So gentle.

"Oh, give me a second." She insisted as she leaned over and grabbed a bag and handed it to me.

I pulled out the Victoria's Secret undergarment, and said,"Thank you. I only came here to get this from you." She giggled.

"And the only reason I ever called you back, was because I knew that there was probably going to be some food involved. So sit down blondie, and let's eat!" I laughed, and pulled up a chair next to her bed, and we began eating.
