9. We Do What We Want

Giggling, I skipped over to Hollister, deciding that if I was going to destroy a store, I might as well start with that one.

I melted the iron curtain that went down in the entrance to the store with my poison nails. I was determined to show Thorn how this was a good thing. She never understood. In all her 18 years. And that's sooo sad.

I waltzed in with an evil smile. "Girls, let the fun begin!" I cackled.

Pixie and Angel ran to the perfume centre. And I do mean centre. There was a huge amount of perfume there. Why people demand to cover their bodies in chemicals that make them smell worse, I will never know.

Angel brought enough light to catch them on fire and Pixie was shooting at them, adding to the flames.

Smirking, I went to the cashier check out counter and with a flick of my wrist the door was open and I was taking the money in it out and into my pants.

Thorn was watching us with disdain, not understanding how we were able to have fun here.

I walked over to the jeans section and started to melt the fabric with my poisonous breath.

Thorn saw this, and I guess something clicked, because she was destroying the tops with her thorns. She was giggling and I was thrilled she finally understood.

After that, we made our way upstairs to see what Abercrombie had for us this night. And we were not disappointed. More money for us (I collected) and more destruction ensued.

A few hours later, I made my sweet way over to the jewelry store and broke in, careful not to trigger any sensors or alarms.

I found the most beautiful emerald ring and necklace set and I had to have it. I took it, put it on, and it matched my outfit and me perfectly.

I was ready to go. I was bored. We had completely ransacked the entire mall. And nothing had come of it other than being a few thousand dollars richer and fun.

I found myself almost giddy for tomorrow... Or, rather today. Today was the first day of school for us!

I'm still wary about it all, but it's beginning to sound like fun now that I realize I'll be able to figure out who the cute Bird Boy truly is. Hehehe! I can't wait!

And then Barbra Gordon's face when she sees me should be wonderfully priceless! I think I'll hit her first in the morning. After we get our schedules. But only because I'm going to...request that we get put into all of her classes.

"Girls?" I called out.

They came and with a nod of my head we left the Gotham City Mall dancing on its ashes.

"So, whose excited for school today?" I smirked.

"I." Voiced out Pixie.

"I as well." Came Thorn.

"OH. EMMM. GEEEE!!! I'm totes excited! ME TOO!! ME TOO!! ME TOO!!" Angel squealed, bouncing up an down.

"That's soooo PERFF!" I mocked back at her.

We were all reduced to a pile of laughs and I was ready to spike them with Joker Gas just to see the outcome. But I resisted.

And when the morn came, we hadn't slept a wink--unusual for us--but we were ready for anything that was to come. And I do mean anything.
