17. Everything Went Bat Crap Crazy

~Batman At The Amusement Park~

Batman landed outside of the Amusement Park and growled deeply.

Joker was going to pay. Abusing such a wonderful and beautiful woman, his own DAUGHTER! That's not going to fly with him around to save her. To keep her safe.

He was already planning what their room would look like in his manor. What she's do to put "a woman's touch" on it after their wedding. He couldn't face a day any longer without her in it.

He loved her. After only a few days, he was in love with her.

He walked into the dark dismal abandoned building that he knew The Joker lived in.

~Back With Me~

"WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?!" I asked, whipping my head around to face Bird Boy.

"Dad... He, uhh... Doesn't like child abuse. You should have seen him when the leader of the circus act was beating me. He almost killed him. Took all of his self control not to. But now, now I think he's lost some of it." Robin sighed, rubbing his face with his hands as he spoke.

"So..??"

"Think about what you just said, Mom." Robin said with a tight smirk to me.

Mom... Uhh... I was his age... To be his mother... Uhh... I don't think so.

"Not your mother," I growled. He laughed and gave me a knowing smirk. "And, what about it? I'm not abused, Dad just teaches me what I'm doing wrong all the time."

"With violence!" Robin snapped.

"Yeah... So?"

"Didn't you say he's the ONLY one who knew how to kill you PERMANENTLY?! And that he's come close to it BEFORE?!"

"Well, yeah..." I was starting to see where he was coming from.

"Do you get it now?" Robin asked pointedly.

"Yes..." I whispered.

Great... Bruce ran off to defend me and my honor to my father. Why doesn't he just ask for my hand in freaking marriage while he's bloody well at it too?!

"I'm going after him." Robin said. "You stay here where you're safe."

I glared at him, turning green in my fury. "I. Do. Not. Think. So. Bird Boy! I'm going with you! That's MY father MY BOYFRIEND went after!"

Robin smokers at the boyfriend remark.

"Shut it, Bird Bath. Let's go." I snapped.

He looked stricken with his new nickname. WONDERFUL! Now he can SHUT UP!

"Yes, Mom." He said.

I groaned. I'm never going to be able to live that one down.

We arrived in less than a minute. It was, after all, a gift of mine to teleport. I pushed Robin behind a barrel and slipped out, forming a plan as I went.

"Hahaha! Batsy! Batsy! Batsy! I was wondering how long it would take for you to come see me, my dear friend!" My dad cackled as he was dancing around with his gun and knife pointed at Batman who was tied up in an amateur's not with Harley sitting on his lap.

I growled when I saw her on my man' slap. But, quickly, I cracked a grin and twirled my way over to him, landing on his back. "Daddy!" I growled with an evil smile.

"My Poison?" He asked with a tilt of his head.

"You almost got me caught! That idiot Bruce Wayne and his stupid kid tried to capture me with the police! I had to shift!! You know how much I hate shifting!" I growled, letting my nails slowly dig themselves into his neck.

"No! Puddin!" Harley screamed as I released my Joker Breath on her from my spot. I had upped the dose an it affected her a little bit.

"Poison... Get your wonderful nails out of my neck, please my lovely daughter!" Daddy said with a cheerful voice and smile.

This was what I knew was going to happen.

"No." I whispered to him.

He stiffened, not liking to be out done by his nineteen-year-old daughter who was refusing to take orders.

"Love, you will get off me. And you will do so now." He said seriously, moving so we were staring into each other's eyes.

I saw the deadly intent that he could inflict upon me and I held his gaze for as long as I could.

I flinched and pulled my nails out and jumped off him with a smile. "Sorry, Daddy!" I chirped.

Oh no. I just. Oh God! I hope I'm not going to make a pattern of this...

His eyes glinted with evil and I stop my ground, shaking.

"What did you just say?" He asked me, walking around me in a circle with his knife brushing against my neck.

"Nothing, Daddy. Absolutely nothing." I answered without missing a beat.

He let the blade fall to my collar bone and cut me open a bit. I felt this one. It's only ever been his knives that can do this to me.

Batman's eyes narrowed and he growled. Robin was sneaking over to him.

I looked at my father and hissed, "That doesn't hurt." And I wasn't lying. It just felt like a pen drawing on my body.

"Oh? It doesn't? Well, then I suppose we'll have to try harder, won't we, love?"

These are the only times that I've ever truly feared my father. He's only scary during punishments.

He shoved the point of it into my shoulder, shoving it into my arm all the way up to the hilt. It stung.

"Daddy..." I whined.

"Yes?"

"Didn't hurt." I smirked.

He laughed and said, "Well, well, well... That's a new raise for you, my dear."

"I've had to deal with a SuperDork and SuperDorkette in Metropolis. You learn to not feel anything. Also, the training exercises I do with the girls. They mostly try to kill me." I grunted.

Robin had successfully removed Harley's limp form from Batman's lap and was cutting Batman out of his extremely terribly loose and tied bonds.

Daddy looked down on me with an awed expression. "That's my girl!" He said finally, coming to my front and enveloping me in a hug. I closed my eyes and smiled.

Then I felt the many stab wounds. I pulled away, and looked down. There were eight knives in my torso. Half of them mine. And the blood was pouring out.

My other wounds were still open, he made them, thus, they stayed. And bled out for a long time.

I schooled my face. He had never gone this far before. I looked directly into his eyes and tried to speak. I couldn't. I fell to my knees and started to rip them out of my body. As I pulled the last two out, I fell on my side and laid down, feeling the blood pouring out of me. And enjoying the feeling of the cool, hard ground under my hot skin and warm blood.

Daddy leaned over me and said, "Did that hurt, love?"

"Yes." I rasped out.

"That's what I thought." He smirked at me.

And then, a loud roar of anguish was emitted from behind me. It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Batman had done that.

I just sighed, unable to move for a few more minutes until I was healed.

Great, my new boyfriend and his son were about to destroy my father.
