Heartbeat Away {Luke Hemmings}

Luke broke her heart so many years ago. However, he's never fully gotten over her. He's tried everything to get her back, but with her changed email, Twitter, deleted Facebook and number, there was no way for him to contact her. When he finally thinks he's over her, she spots her in the streets with him. She gives signs that she might like him again, except she has a boyfriend. Will she dump her current boyfriend of 4 years for Luke, or will she be the one time break Luke's heart this time?

2. First Snowfall

Luke's POV

"That's totally not like Rosie to leave a message like that. It's not even a minute long. Her ends of the conversation are usually like 5 minutes at least." Calum said, as I replayed him the voicemail.

"I know. I just miss her so much."

"I wish we were there to help you through the last 5 years. How'd we even end up getting out of touch anyways. Ashton made a bet that you were somewhere in the forest. He owes me 50 bucks now so thanks for that."

"Glad the sake of my future helped you earn some free cash." I said sarcastically. I sighed, placing my elbow on my knee with my head in my hand.

"Come on Luke, you're still so sensitive. You know didn't mean it like that. You should come hang out with us sometime. Michael is holding a birthday party next week for himself. You should come. We all miss you."

"Um.. I guess. Well, see ya." We exchanged numbers before he left my home. I closed the door, watching him get into his car.

He was still the same Calum. Only a bit taller with a deeper voice. He still looked Asian, he still hadn't grown a beard and all that other stuff. I still don't really have one either, so I shouldn't be talking. Calum has a family now though. I'm still alone.

I've tried dating, so, so many people. I always get so hung up on Rosabella though. I need to talk to her. And soon.

 I scrolled through my photo album to find so many pictures of Rosie and I. I thought I wouldn't need them, but I guess I lied since I'm still finding pictures of her in my phone. I continued on going through them, so many of them of me and her. Silly selfies from when we were teenagers. I finally found my favorite picture of her somewhere in the mix.

It was a picture of her in the first snowfall in about 5 years. I had just woken up when she called me, screaming. I couldn't help but smile cause I'd never heard her seem so excited. As soon as the call ended I grabbed on my beanie and winter jacket and ran outside. Before I could run down the street to her house, I had found her in my front yard. Spinning in the snow wearing one of my favorite beanies. She didn't realize I had taken the photo of her at the time, but when she did, she wanted me to delete it. I'm really glad I didn't.
