You & I

Niall decides he wants to hang out with Taylor after hearing her playing the guitar and talking to her, she seems so nice and trustworthy. Taylor is amazed that a hugely famous, and gorgeous, celebrity wants anything to do with her.

However, Niall can't help falling in love.

9. My Fault...His Fault

"Taylor! Wait." Niall called after me, as I stormed off the set and backstage. I tried to keep the tears in. I spun around.

"What?" I shouted, my voice breaking. Tears spilled, and slid down my cheeks, I could taste the saltiness as it ran over my lips.

"I am so sorry - I didn't know that would happen." He apologised, approaching me.

"Why didn't you tell me about all those tweets?" I asked accusingly, taking a step back.

"I didn't want to hurt you." he replied.

"Hurt me?" I yelled, I could almost laugh. "You think letting me see those for the first time, on TV, is gonna make me feel better than letting me see them at home? They hate me, and now they know I'm weak so they'll carry on. If I was used to it, I wouldn't give a damn. But no." I ranted on, tears streaming down my face.

"Look, Taylor. Please forgi-" Niall pleaded, but I cut him off.

"No, Niall. You've hurt me more than those messages. You didn't tell me that millions of strangers want me dead for dating you." I shouted, running out of the studios. The air hit me like a ton of bricks. There were crowds outside. Niall caught hold of me, and turned me to face him. I didn't look him in the eye.

"Taylor, please..." he started. I pulled away from him.

"You know what? This is all because of 'us'. Maybe, there shouldn't be an 'us'. That's the problem, Niall." I almost screamed, pushing through the crowds and running, running away from them all. I ran down a deserted gravel driveway, over a barbed wire fence, and through a dark mass of trees. For ages, I carried on. With no idea where I was, or where I was going.

It seemed like hours I was going for...until I reached a long line of bush. I pushed through, and realised where I was. The picnic place. Only it wasn't magical. I threw myself onto the ground under the cherry blossom leaves. It had all suddenly changed. The cherry blossoms seemed to have lost their blossoms. The water looked cold and dirty. The flowers looked wilted, the clouds were grey, the grass was stiff and spiky. Everything looked different. Horrible. I was alone, with no-one on my side. Girls all over the world wanted me dead, or hated me for loving Niall. It was all my fault for falling in love with him. It was all his fault for letting me.
