DELETE (A Zayn Malik Fanfic)

Zayn Malik gets a lot of hate on the internet, but there is one hater who sticks out to him the most... A girl who constantly pops up into his life; one that he can't get rid of. "What is her deal?," Malik asks himself. The girl later ends up feeling a way she never expected.

3. Early Morning

Lia's POV

I hit the alarm clock on the right side of my bed. I slowly sit up, yawning. I hear the birds chirping outside of my window. I turn my head to the clock I had just snoozed. "6:50".

I grab the phone that sat next to the alarm clock. I pick the contact that is titled 'Zayn'.

"Good morning, Zayn."

A few minutes later he replies, "Morning. What do you have planned for me now?"

"Okay, You're probably tired. But, I need you to get the gift, and drive somewhere. I am about to give you directions to a park close to where I live. That will be your clue for today. The park is at Concord Dr. Leave the gift on the swing. I will come to get it in 20 minutes. Do not try to stay and follow me, or else I will keep sending you hate, and give out your personal information. Good bye." I send the message, then put my phone back on the desk next to me.

Zayn's POV

Well at least now I know that this Lia girl lives really close to me. Concord Dr. Is just 2 blocks away.

I set the purple box onto the swing, the quickly got into my car. I parked a little up the street. She told me to not follow her but she never said I couldn't spy on her. About 3 minutes of waiting, I see someone with a hoodie approach the swing. I'm guessing that's Lia. She looks around, which makes me sink down into my seat, to make sure she can't see me.

Lia's POV

I looked at the atmosphere around me to make sure Zayn wasn't here. I opened up the purple box to find a purple necklace with diamonds. Dang. I mean, I know he's rich, but a diamond necklace?! He really went out of his way...

I take off my hood and wrap the necklace around my neck. I smile to the feeling of this necklace. I keep the smile on my face as I close up the box and start walking up the sidewalk.

Zayn's POV

I watched as Lia put on the necklace I had left for her. For some odd reason, I could feel my lips curve up into a smile. Lia started to walk up the sidewalk. I ducked down low as she passed by. I got back up when she got farther away. I saw her turn to an awfully large house. It was bigger than every other house on this street. That must be where she lived. Once she closed the door, I turned the key and started the car. As I drived past her house, I looked at the address. Technically I didn't follow her.

Once I got home, I decided that maybe we could just talk.

"Hey" I texted her.

"Your next task is tomorrow." She replied.

"I know, but I thought maybe we could just talk?"

"So... Are you out of school?"

"Yes, I'm 19 actually."

She's only a year younger than I am.

"Oh really? That cool. But I have one question. What do you do besides send me hate 24/7?"

It took a while for her to respond

"Nothing really. My friends are busy."

"Nothing? Nothing at all?"

"Nope." She replied.

Well now I feel kind of bad. Maybe... Just maybe that's the reason why she is full of hate; because she's stuck at home doing nothing.

"Well maybe you would like to hang out with me today?" I quickly responded.

"Are you serious?" She asks confused

"Well yeah. You said you don't do anything else. Well this is my offer to do something."

"Sure... I'd like that."

"Great. So I'll pick you up? I already know where you live lol"

"What?! I told you not to follow me!"

"I didn't! I just sat in my car and I saw you go into a house. I didn't follow you, I swear."

"Ugh... You're lucky, Malik. I would have shared your phone number with the whole internet."

"Haha, be ready in 30 minutes"

I got into my car once again, and drove to Concord Drive. Lia walked out in a totally different outfit than earlier. She had on a cute black dress. He hair was down in her natural curls. As she walked up to my car, surprisingly, she gave me a smile.

As she got into the passengers side, I looked down at her neck to find that she was still wearing that purple necklace. I started the car, then drove off.

"Where are we going?" She asked while staring at me.

"My house." I said keeping my eyes on the road.

I opened the door and stepped back so Lia could go in first. She looked around amazed.

"This place is huge."

"Yours is too!"

"Yeah, but not as big as this. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You're rich."

"Haha, oh yeah."

"So what are we going to do?" She says staring at me.

"Movie?" I smiled.
