3. Chapter 2

The bad feeling in my stomach grew stronger as we got closer to the house. We parked and Bailee practically dragged me inside the house. I took one step in and loud music blasted into my ear, and the mixed smell off many drug and alcohol and puke all hit my at once. We walked in and instantly Bailee went off with all her other friends leaving me alone, crowded by people. The smells were upsetting my stomach so I rushed looking for a different room, eventually I found the kitchen. I took a couple deep breaths and tried to calm myself. I was still feeling depressed from not taking my meds. I grabbed an ice cold water bottle and poured it into a cup. I found a clean spot on the counter and hopped up, resting against the cupboard. I sipped it slowly, letting it calm my stomach slowly. I relaxing listening to the music that wasn’t so loud from in here, as I stared at the ceiling. It seemed forever until something drew my attention away from the ceiling and the music.

I heard the kitchen door swing open. I looked up to see a guy who I knew. The most popular boy at my school. His name is Harry. He has deep green emerald eyes, chocolate brown locks of curls and had tattoos piercing every visible part of his body. I looked back up at the ceiling, and listened to the music. He got a drink and leaned against the counter across from me. I ignored him until I felt his eyes on me. Then I looked up and saw this smile on his face and he just smiles. I didn’t really know anything about him so I just looked away.

“Hello” he smiled at me.

“Oh hi..” I said plainly.

“Why are you in here all alone darling?” he asks

“Oh well…my friend is with her other friends and I just wasn’t feeling well” I drank my water.

“That’s no fun…I’ve never seen you before. Are you from around here?”

I nodded. “We go to the same school and I’m in 5 of your classes.” I whispered.

“I don’t remember seeing you..” he says.

I didn’t say anything.

“Well you know, you’re quite beautiful…” He smiles at me.

I felt something in my stomach. Not the bad feeling but something else…like butterflies. That was my cue.

“I-I have to go” I said jumping off the counter going to the door.

He frowns. “Wait!”

I took a dash to the front door, sliding past sweating bodies. I left taking in the cold night air and shivered. I didn’t bother finding Bailee. I couldn’t drive anyways so I just started walking in the cold night. I trailed along the dark sidewalk. I couldn’t see anything in the darkness. I soon heard voices.

“Eh! Boys looky what we got here!” A man’s voice slurs.

I stopped dead in my tracks trembling. A shape came into the light, from the street. A heavy man in his rough 40’s approached my trembling body, He grabs both my arms from behind forcefully. I whimpered trembling.

“Innocent one huh?” he slurs, gripping my body to the front of his.

I Whimpered. “Please don’t!” I pleaded.

He moves his hips into mine. I tried to break free but he was too strong.

“Stop!” I cried.

“Leave her alone!!” called someone.
