Come & Get It

I didn't believe in darkness until I met him. The boy with the green eyes. He got me drunk on purpose, continuing to hand me drink after drink at the bar. All because he knew I'd be dumb enough to sign the contract. The contract stating that he had full possession over me and use me for whatever he wanted. And I don’t think the things he wanted were very pleasant. I was in his dark apartment now, he brought me here shortly after the contract was signed. I couldn't see him in the pitch black room, so I thought about running. Escaping. But I knew he was watching me. His stare paralyzed me, and I knew that escaping would be no option. He had me, and there was nothing I could do now… Let Me Go Back to the day we were paired together.

2. Chapter 1

*Flashback. School Tomorrow*

My Great Grandma Alford had just had surgery on her knee caps. My Step Dad little sister and I went to help my Aunt take care of her. My mom stayed in town to attend work. We left on the Friday before spring break for the long drive to Vernon. Oh how I love going to the country where my Grandma’s farm is. We spent the whole spring break helping my Grandmother, cleaning the house keeping the property in order. The last Thing I wanted to have to do is worry about my Great Grandmother during my Senior Year. I had so much going on this year. It is 9 weeks until graduation and I have a lot on my plate. I’m head of soccer team, I’m in art club, play guitar and I on top of that I almost have all of my credits to pass high school. My guidance counselor told me that I had to take this extra class on Friday afternoons in order to get the credits I need. And of course it was the subject I’m worse at, Math. Math and science not my strong spots. My favorite classes are obviously like any other teenager, lunch, Language Arts, Guitar, and soccer.

Today is Thursday and at the moment I was heading back from my Grandmothers to get prepared for school tomorrow. My Step Dad and Little Sister won’t be coming back until Sunday night. I needed to get back to an internet connection to check my assignments. I’ve missed almost 3 soccer meetings and have 1 art assignment due when I return to school. I only have a few more touches to put on my art assignment. But had no clue about any of my other classes. My first day of my extra math class was tomorrow. I am feeling a little nervous about it, but that’s mainly because I’m afraid of failing it.

I was about 20 minutes away from my house but I stopped to get gas, and pick up a slushy. I was currently listening to Justin Timberlake. Man, he is so fine. Anyway I was at the gas pump paying for my gas, when my phone rang. I quickly closed the gas department on my truck and ran into my car to answer it. It was my guidance counselor so I quickly picked up.

“Hello” I answered.

“Hi, Brianne its Mrs. Am”

“Hi, what’s going on?” I asked starting my car and heading home.

“Nothing just a reminder about you class tomorrow.”

“I plan to be there on time. I need these extra credit points.”

She giggled.

“Yeah, but I need to let you know of the project that’s coming up”

“’’what is it?”

“It’s an expository board on using math in the outside world. But I was told to tell you about your partner.”

“What’s wrong with my partner?”

“Oh nothing. But he’s a bit of a slacker and is very self absorbed, and umm manipulating.”

“Well, I can assure you that nothing is going to get in the way of me getting these points to graduate.” I said confidently.

“Good for you. I like your confidence. But if you are having any trouble with anything. School related or not give me a call.”

“You’d be the first to call, I have to go now”

“Ok, good luck tomorrow.”

“Thank you, bye.”

“Bye.” She said hanging up.

I was determined to get those extra credit points.

No one can ruin that.

Or so I thought.
