I waited for a long time after my father called Chuck's parents. I wanted to know what happened to make their lives so miserable and so dangerous that they couldn't clue their children in even after their friend and brother disappear. I heard a knock and then the door knob turning: about time.

"Yes they're in here. I know Margaret they want answers." my father said.

"I just Andrew would hurry up and park the car, he's stalling." when they appeared in the entry way, she paused and looked around all four children now adults were looking at her. Expecting answers. We were impatient yes, but we were willing to wait but not for long. Finally I heard Andrew come in, he entered the living room and wrapped his arm around his wife's waist and my father and mother invited them to sit. They sat next to them and I cleared my throat, I still have the shakes from my ordeal and I can only imagine what Lawrence was going through he was with them for almost seven or eight years.

"As you all know I was kidnapped, probably by the same people who kidnapped Lawrence all those years ago. I want to know why they want us so bad and what you did to p*ss them off." I paused gathering my thoughts and continued "Not only did they take me which is bad enough but they took Iva too, but were stupid enough not to separate us."

There was a silence they seemed to last a million years, before Andrew finally decided to talk.

"I, we understand your need for answers we do, but we're afraid that if you kids know that you won't look at us the same way you did while growing up."

"If I may father, I never looked into your eyes growing up, maybe seven years but the rest no." Lawrence interjected. The parents looked uncomfortable, their only line of defense was gone-

"Fine, twenty years ago we were involved in the occult, we made a deal with the devil, internal life in exchange for four children, our own. I'm sorry but when we left when our leader ultimately died we all scattered taking our deals and lives with us, it was dangerous for the group to stay together but we stayed together we had no idea it would do this."

"Somehow that seems a little far fetched, To be true." Chuck said, questions sprawled on his face

"Okay yes that isn't the truth," my mother said, surprisingly Andrew seemed to be the talker.

"Then what the hell is? Stop with the lies our lives are at stake. Or don't you care?" Amanda snapped They all looked like they've been slapped in the face, but didn't they deserve it? Come on who repeatedly lies to their loved ones if their lives counted on the truth? I guess I didn't know my parents as well as I thought I did.

"Yes mother, father what is the truth, maybe I shouldn't even call you mom and dad. You've obviously lied all our lives so why not lie about our parentage too?"

"We may have lied about a lot of things but we would never lie about something like that. We love you guys. Trust me we've moved around so many times to confuse them."

"Who is them?"

"When we were in college we wanted to do something different, something four small town kids wouldn't do." my mother said.

"So when the bulletin said we could join this club call the Dungeon Caterers we thought cool something unusual what we didn't know was that it wasn't a club it was a gang. And their name wasn't Dungeon Caterers, it was Bloody Warriors. By the time we figured it out we were knee deep and almost ready to take over. Between the four of us, we had killed many people and then we had enough and we tried to leave, we gathered some friends at the time we had six or seven and when we scattered they hunted us down one by one so us four the original rebels we moved to a different country where we met them. They seemed like English royalty...each of them wanted us romantically or so we thought. When we all refused them they turned murderous they didn't want to give up so they cursed us. Literally they cursed us, when we had our first set of twins, each of us and when they reached the age seven one will disappear, when they reach the age of eighteen another shall disappear. So far its come true." My father finished for her.

"So what are their names?"

"They are brothers and sisters. They are from a historic line of a family,,, The Canterbury's, They are a family of witches and warlocks, ruthless when they don't get what they want. So that's our history you now know the truth."

"Okay that does sound truthful and scary." I said

"If we find out you guys are lying again we'll never trust you again." Chuck said.

"I'm tired so I'm going to go to bed, Chuck you coming?"

"Yes goodnight."
