Kitty Kat: A Batman Fanfiction {Book I in the Kids of Gotham Series}

It was just one time. Just once. Will Selina Kyle, better known as Catwoman, be able to squirm her way out of this one? {Batman X Catwoman. Rated Y for suggested sex and slight language}

1. Chapter One

Selina Kyle wasn't feeling so hot.

She moaned and pulled the purple comforter over her head. Her cat meowed and jumped onto the large circular bed, curling up next to her. Selina put an arm over the small, furry thing, stroking it softly.

"You know, I'm starting to regret getting back together with Bruce." she cooed to the cat. "It seems to be bringing me poor health." she joked.

I could always just stay here all day, she thought to herself. Nah, the Cat's Eye Jade isn't going to steal itself, and Bruce will be furious if you stand him up at eight-thirty.

Selina rolled out of bed, landing on her feet. Cat-like reflexes still operating. She stretched and opened the small bag she kept under the bed, finding her Catwoman costume. She smiled faintly to herself and pulled of the violet nightgown, trading it for the skintight suit.

She released her claws, using them to climb out of the room and up to the roof. It was totally unnecessary to use them, but hey, overdoing it was her specialty.

Catwoman looked out to the horizon, towards the Gotham Museum of Historical Art. Quietly and stealthily, she made her way over to the museum, sneaking in and toward the Cat's Eye Jade. Using her claws, she made a clean circle in the glass that popped out almost immediately, fitting comfortably into the palm of her hand. She removed the statue, replacing it with the circle of glass, and climbed back up to the roof. She roof-jumped for a while, until she rested on a warehouse overlooking the ocean.

Cats weren't fond of water, but Catwoman needed to think.

Let's see here . . . it's only two weeks late . . . it's probably nothing. she thought, but she couldn't settle the deep-rooted worry in her already-aching gut. She shrugged.

After the date. You will make sure that you're not pregnant after the date. She checked her watch. Eight o'clock. She needed to get ready.
