A/N: Hey people of the world! This chapter will be one of very few that I will put POV that is because it will change a lot in this chapter. I wanted to try this idea out so comment and tell me if I should do it again in other stories, and if you ether have watched the show "Revolution" or don't want to know what happened before Zayn met Lauren and Lexie then just skip this chapter it won't affect the rest if the story this is just a clarification chapter. If you aren't sure what is going on then I would defiantly read this chapter. So bye for now and enjoy.

Lexie's POV

I was sitting in my room staring at the ceiling having nothing to do. The sun had gone down a couple of minutes ago so the only light in the room was from my lamp standing next to my desk. It's light was shining directly on my blue wall or as I like to call it my fan wall. On it I had every form of One Direction merchandise I owned. In the corner stood my Zayn Malik cardboard cutout (I kinda had a crush on him). It was a Saturday night and I had nothing to do, but then again neither does any other 13 year old I know. I was just about to grab my phone to listen to some music when it happened. The power went out and I found myself trying to turn on a dead phone, but last I checked it was fully charged and normally it would have the flashing battery but this time it didn't. I was in complete darkness and as I sat there for a couple of moments I noticed that I didn't here the air conditioning at all. I went downstairs and found that nothing electric we owned seemed to work from the plumbing to the TV. My parents decided that we should check on my friends who lived nearby to see if the same thing is happening to them. So that list would contain Lauren and Katy. When we got to the car it didnt even start the locks wouldn't work. This was getting scary and I still had no way to make sure everyone was alright. We ended up walking to everyone's houses.

Lauren's POV

"Maybe it the way she walked,

"Straight into my heart and stole it,

"Through the doors and pass the guard,

"Like she already owned it."

It was a Saturday and that meant a tennis tournament. I was on my way home after getting second place, I was so proud. I was listening to One Direction on the radio as my mom drove me and my sisters home. I was enjoying the song best song ever when I found that we weren't moving and the radio had turned off. I asked my mom, "What's going on why did we stop homes down the street further! Mom?!"

"I don't know it wasn't me perhaps the battery died call you dad and see if he can come and get us." She replied. I didn't know why she wanted me to call dad, most likely because he would be able to figure out what was wrong. So I pulled out my phone and found that it wouldn't turn on. 'This can't be happening,' I thought, 'I need my phone. Why me? Why today?' and on that note I had to walk to my house to get my dad.

As I walked, though I noticed that none of the lights in any of the houses were on. I was starting to panic. No one around, complete darkness, no phone. This stuff only happens in horror movies right before someone is killed, and I should know I watch them all the time with my dad. Then I heard something behind me snap a twig and it sacred me so much I ran all the way to my house from there.

Grace's POV

It has been nearly three hours since the power went out and my dad is starting to panic, and when that happens so does bad things. He wants us to leave and head west toward my uncle's house. He thinks we'll be safe there but my mom thinks that if we head east toward the capital then we will get more information about what is going on."GRACE! Come on we are leaving." My dad yelled.

He came up to my room and and grabbed me by the arm. Dragging me down stairs he kept cursing under his breath as if someone had just screwed him over. As we walked toward the door I noticed that my mom was nowhere to be seen. "Dad, what about mom where is she?"

"Calm down Grace you don't need to worry about that. It's just you and me now." I didn't know what he had done to her and I didn't want to know I just followed him with the hope he wouldn't do it to me.

Zayn's POV

We had been waiting in the tour bus for one of our bodyguards to get back but it hadn't happened. It had been nearly 24 hours since everything shut down. Harry and Louis where trying to get the phones working at least, so far they've got nothing. I am utterly worried about all this it isn't right. There's something going on and I couldn't do anything. I had mainly been thinking about my family in London. We have probably all thought about how we may never see them again. For all I know the lads have made closure, but I still feel like I have to do something anything to get back to them. I know it pointless, but I can't give up and shut down. My hope to get back to my family will keep me going no matter what.

"Zayn, come out here we have company!" I heard Liam shout just as I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Be there in a moment," I said as I grabbed a jacket and ran for the front of the bus.

Harry's POV

It's been three days since the power went out. The day it happened we were visited by a man that said he could help us get back home. At first I thought that it would be a good idea to follow him, but now I am skeptical he refuses to tell us where we are going and what we need to do. Every time I ask he just says something like "you'll find out" or "it won't be long now." I can tell that the lads are getting frustrated and Zayn and Liam have been very distant. Niall is becoming more and more timid even though he refuses to admit it. I think the whole situation is finally sinking in for all of us. I don't know how much more we can take before it all falls apart. We have discovered that it wasn't just California that is having this crisis it's the entire United States, and considering I haven't even seen one plane or boat I would guess that the whole world was affected. As far as I could tell that lads have given up on the chance of going home.

"We're here!" Our guide yell with the same flat expression in his voice as he always had. As I came to stand next to him I saw a large brick building not far off. It look either like a prison or mental hospital. When the others caught up I noticed that our guide had left.

"Lads something's not right." I said.

"Keep your eyes open." Zayn whispered, probably trying not to be heard.

I didn't get to heard what Liam said because by then I had been knock out by someone behind me.

Louis's POV

I have lost track of how many days it's been since I've seen any sun light. I haven't slept in days due to the strange people I know are in this room. I have to keep my guard up and sleeping wouldn't help. I haven't eaten or drank anything since I was put here. After they got Harry we tried to fight off the bastards and save him but it didn't do us any good we were split up and picked off. I don't have the energy to move or even think. All I can do is lay here staring at what I think is a ceiling and pray that the others are ok.

Then I heard footsteps coming toward me. I tried to run but it was no use. I only got a few inches before I was surrounded by figures holding gas lamps. I tried charging them, but when I ran into them they didn't even flinch. It was probably because I was so tired. I probably looked drunk. Then a man stepped forward he was older then all the rest of them. He had snow white hair and a wrinkled face, but what really got my attention was his eyes. They were pitch black with no light in them. It was as if he had no soul. I couldn't look away from them no matter how hard I tried. It was as if time didn't exists I was lost in that darkness. Then I felt a pain in my arm and the darkness wasn't just in the man's eyes but all around me. I stayed like that for what felt like forever. I heard things too, screams, children crying. I thought I would got mad and then I woke up to Niall looking down at me his face was completely white and I knew something was wrong.
