Winter Wonderland

Picture the perfect Christmas; white falling snow and a huge tree decorated perfectly.
Nope. This time, seventeen year old Amanda Peterson and her family are spending two weeks in beautiful Hawaii for Christmas break.
And... Amanda meets someone special...

5. Amanda's Point Of View.

"Chrissy, this place is beautiful. I wish you were here with me." I said into my phone.

"I wish so too." She sighed.

I bit my lip and twirled a strand of hair around my finger.

"Ooh! I almost forgot, any cute boooyyysss?" She asked in a sing-song voice.

I laughed and told her no. "Besides, I just got here."

"Ugh. You're no fun."

I giggled and said goodbye. I hung up and picked the book I was reading back up, The Fault In Our Stars by John Greene. (Is that how you spell his last name? Let me know and I'll fix it if it's wrong.)

I heard a splash and let out a yelp as I covered my face with my book. I peered over the top and saw a football floating in the pool. What the...?

I put my book on the lawn chair I was sitting in and cautiously walked over. I had changed into a bikini earlier so I waded into the pool to get the now soaked ball.

"Hey, sweetheart!"

I looked over to the right and saw two hot guys watching me over a Koa wood fence. One of them was smiling with an I-own-the-world smile, and the other (which I blushed seeing him smile at me) had an innocent grin.

I got out of the pool and walked over to them. I pushed my sunglasses back to they sat at the top of my head like a headband.

"Hi." I said smiling.

They both said a greeting of their own. We made small talk and I gave them their ball back.

The one that acted like a know it all's name was Steve. The one I felt myself falling for... his name was Joshua.
