7. How to get good grades the real way

Got a birthday coming up and need to prove your excellence to get that new phone? Or maybe you just want to get a good grade! Well, here's the easiest way.

1. Dedicate. Explain to your friends that you want to spend some time working on your grades and then you promise you can hag out. Real friends will understand and let you have a week or so to stay at home after to school to study. Spend at least 30 minutes a day studying. Preferably, an hour or three will improve your grades faster, but only do that if your a willing, and you can arrange an equal amount of chill time. Always give yourself time to do what you want. I advise not going on social networks because they lower your self esteem the longer you're on them. However, watching an episode of your favourite TV show or maybe your fave movie will calm you down and help keep stress at bay!

2. Revise. If you've had previous tests, you can check them over before finals, since they will ALWAYS test you on things that you've had tests about before in the year. Remember the answers to as many questions as you can and you'll be done!

3. Ask for help. Never feel like asking for help isn't an option. It's ALWAYS and option, even if it isn't the only one. My point is, ask an adult or even another student for help. It could really, well, help!

4. Finally, the thing that helps me study is music. Maybe not for you, but I find that musical or just artistic and creative right-brained people need music to calm them. I play Beethoven and Katy Perry (don't ask about that random selection) in the background while I work and those times I usually get a great grade! If I don't, it's always for another reason. But if you are a logical, brooding, left-brained person, maybe having notes around you would help, or maybe you just need to challenge yourself. Before studying, why not do a sudolku or crossword puzzle to prepare your brain?
