1. Begginings...

Rose looked around, so this was it! She was now about to become an official part of the magical world, this is where they say it all starts, Hogwarts- School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! She looked around, the great crimson bulk of the Hogwarts Express was pulling into Hogsmead station, the closest station to the school, she turned to her cousin Albus, and grinned. They were both first years, about to start their first stage of magical education. Not wanting to miss a single second of the action, the two cousins leapt of the platform, to join the other first years. The gamekeeper, by the name of "Hagrid", was there to guide the young students to the boats, the traditional entrance of the first years...

As they climbed the stairs, to reach the Great Hall, in which the "Sorting" of The Houses, was performed, Rose could not help noticing some of the elder children whispering as they walked past. Could it be because Rose's father, Ron Weasly, was "famous" like he had said, or was it another reason? Rose brushed these queries aside and entered into the Great Hall. The massive room, (if you could even call it that)was gorgeous! Bedecked with gold cutlery, crystal chandeliers, colorful tapestries depicting the four houses, and last but never least the ceiling, showing the exact weather, and constellations of the real sky. In the center of the Hall, were four long trestle tables, each one was occupied by one house. And at the very front of the room, sat an old, shabby wooden stool, and upon that lay an even older and shabbier wizards hat.
