Just Friends...not.

Michelle is your average high school teenage girl. Or, at least as average as it gets. She's popular, all the teachers loves her, and she has the best boyfriend ever. Saxon Lyman. But what happens when her childhood friend, Derek Graham, starts increasing their friendship to the next level. Is he just trying to mess with her emotions? Break up her relationship with Saxon? All of the above?

3. Girls and Guys Night

I woke up the next morning, seeing Saxon's half naked body right next to mine. I couldn't help myself when my eyes traveled down and up is body, even when he started to stir awake.

"You're staring," he said in his hoarse morning voice.

My cheeks grew hot, and I knew I was getting a bit red. "I'm not staring, I'm gazing." I stated.

"It's weird."

"It's cute."

He chuckled. "Fine. You win. This time, that is."

My curiosity got the best of me. "What do you mean by this time? Are you sure-" Before I could finish what I started to say, Saxon was on top of me, tickling me in the sides.

I laughed. And laughed, and laughed. I laughed until I started to cry. "Would," hiccup, "you," hiccup, "stop," hiccup, "tickling me?" I attempted to yell in laughing fits.

Saxon's grin widened. "Say it."

"Say what?"

"Say it!"

I laughed some more. "Uh..." More laughter. "Saxon is the best boyfriend in the world!"

Saxon laughed. "I know I am. But that's what I didn't want to hear. You know exactly what I want."

I started laughing so hard, I couldn't even speak. "Just stop tickling me for a second!" He stopped. "Okay, well," my breathing was hard and heavy, "fine, I'll make you breakfast."

"Thank you, my darling." He kissed me on the cheek.

I pushed him off of me and stuck my tongue out at him. "Whatever. Don't be mad if I 'accidentally' burn your toast..." I giggled and ran to the kitchen before he could say anything else to me.

We were sitting on my kitchen counter throwing each other grapes and trying to catch them with our mouths.

Saxon laughed at me when a grape hit me in the eye. "You're terrible at this!"

"Hey now," I said jokingly, "don't judge me. You're the one who fell in love with this girl."

He chuckled. "I fell madly in love with a crazy women indeed." He winked at me.

"Hey! You are so mean! I can't believe-" I was interrupted by my ringtone going off from the coffee table. I ran out and answered it as soon as I could. "Hello?"

"Hey Michy." I knew that voice anywhere.

I gasped. "Kearra! Girl, what's up?"

"Oh nothin' much. I just got home from the mall. How was camp?" She asked.

"It was great. Being counselor for little kids is so fun! Well, until they make macaroni art, and start gluing macaroni on to your skin and clothes. Then it sucks." We both started giggling. "So why'd ya call, girly?"

"I was actually thinking if you wanted to come over. I'm inviting Sydney, Hallie, Lexy, and Sadie too for a girls night tonight. How does that sound?"

I smiled. A girls night would be amazing. No worrying about the whole Saxon and Derek thing. "Sounds awesome, Kiki! What time?"

"Be here around 5?"

"I can make that work. I'll see ya then! Love ya!"

"Love ya too." And with that I hung up.

"Who was that?" Asked Saxon, who was coming out of the kitchen, and sat down on the couch. His eyes showed a bit of jealousy, his body was tense, I could tell he thought that was Derek on the other line.

"That was Kearra." I said, and Saxon's whole body relaxed. I smiled. "We're going to have a girls night tonight."

"Ooh. Could I come?" He asked, grinning.

I grabbed a pillow from the other side of the couch and threw it at him. "Only in your dreams. This is time to get away from you!" I smirked.

"Oh really now? You want to go there?"

"Yeah. Let's go."

"Fine, just for that, I'll throw a guys night here." He said.

"Good. you could use it. You're already starting to get wrinkles." I winked at him.

He got up from the couch. But before he could catch me, I ran to my room, slammed my door, and started to get ready for tonight.
