What Matters

Anto met a not-so-normal gorgeous boy a year ago on a train. Jack Harries. Now, he shows up and is not alone. They need her help. The 2 boys and 2 girls must travel halfway around the world and look for the price of their lives. Will she be able to find what matters most? Or will they all die in the end?

Im terribly bad at this, but please give it a chance?

25. What Matters

We got out of the car. The wind was pretty strong and i could feel my hair slapping my face. A few feet behind us Dani was yelling something at Jack while he dragged her along. Caspar was leading the way with a shovel and a flashlight. -Finny, i have a bad feeling about this- i whispered grabbing his hand. He squeezed back and smiled. -we're almost done. I'll take ya to paris next k?- that sounded good. This wasn't the end of the word, we could still hang out after. I nodded, taking a deep breath and walking hand in hand with Finn to where Caspar had started digging.

Half an hour later, the boys were almost done. The coffin shone catching the moonlight and looking more mysterious. Scary mysterious, not the good kind. Dani was sitting as far away as possible while staying close enough in case something (or someone) came after her. Knees to her body and shaking occasionally. Jack was clearly distracted watching her like this, glancing back every few seconds. I couldn't imagine how hard it was for him to see her so scared, but there was no time for sentimentalism. I had somehow ended up as the leader (don't ask me how it happened, i have no idea) so i stood close and told them to do this or that. Finn had just said that we only had 15 minutes to finish up before the guards came for their rounds when i noticed something. -wait! What is that?- there was an inscription in the lid in fancy metallic letters. -i think it says something..- said Jack. It was in Finnish, unfortunately. This is what Dani came for, of the 5 of us she knew Finnish the better. -hey Danidan, would you mind helping us a bit?- i asked approaching her. The little colour she had left her face, but she nodded and got up. When she was close enough, she read it aloud. -it says something like.."remember what matters. Is it really worth it?"-
