James Potter and the Marauders

This is a story about James Potter (Harry's father). I'm sorry if I made any mistakes. English isn't my native language.

7. The restricted section

Sirius' p.o.v.:

My wound healt very soon. Today is Halloween. We ate alot of candy. Peter and I are very good in transforming class, Remus in spells and James is absolutely the best in flying. We went to bed. The others felt asleep very quickly. But suddenly, I saw a blue light and when I looked more closely, there were several lights. They clearly lead to something. I decided to wake up the others. "Where will it lead us to?" asked Remus. "Well, there is only one way to find out."

James stood up and followed the lights. Typical James. He likes an adventure. We followed him in silence. After a while, we were in the library. But the lights continued in the restricted section. "The door is locked." said James. "Of course, this is the restricted section. What did you expect?" noticed Peter. "Alohamora!" said Remus while waving his wand. The door opened. "Alohamora?" I asked. "Standard book of spells, chapter seven."

James' p.o.v.:

Remus is clearly the smart guy of us. So we went into the restricted section. It was pretty exciting. The library was huge and I've never been in the restricted section. The lights lead us to a book. I took it from the bookshelf. The colour of the book was gold and the title was written in silver letters. 'The hidden Island of magic.'

"Why is this book in the restricted section?" asked Peter. "I don't know. Let's open it." answered Sirius. So, I tried to open it, but I couldn't. We've tried everything, but the book woudn't open. Suddenly, a text appeared on the cover:

Those who want to read,

but don't feel,

won't be able to read.

Those who believe

in black magic,

won't be able to read.

Those who have

a golden heart,

those who trust

their friends,

will be able to read.

"What? What is this?" I really didn't understand. Why couldn't the book just open? "It's very easy actually." We were all staring at Remus. "Sirius must open the book." "What? Why me?" asked Sirius. "Because you have a golden heart. You forgave me." Sirius nodded and I gave him the book. The book opened. He turned to the first page, but suddenly, an acute, yellow light shone out of the book. It swallowed us up into the story.

We landed on an Island.
