Saturday Night

That one night. Yeah. A Saturday night. That's it. When a boy and girl met. Yeah. On a show. A ordinary show. Like Friday download I guess...but they went out of show business long ago as this show came and fort and went with victory. This show was called...Saturday Night.

4. The journey

'You ready Fi?'

'Of course I am!!'

I ran outside and gave her a quick squeeze.

'Common, let's go!' We both got into the back seats and shut the door.

'Where off to now miss?' The posh driver spoke.

'To the stars!'

I sniggered as Louise put her arm out like superman, she burst we out laughing!

'Haha...very funny miss. Where to?'

The driver gave a smile.

'To Saturday Night Studio please!' I said as me and Louise giggled together. I couldn't believe that it was tonight! The week went so so quickly! And...somehow...we became more popular! Just by winning a contest! Well...every teenager in the school does watch it, to be honest.

Loads of the popular people were talking about us but...they really seemed bothered.

'Oh my god!'

'Can't believe those two won to meet those boys!'

'I should have won, not those two.'

Pff. Popular people. They want everything. Well not everything but...you know what I mean. Anyway, that's my point of view. Yours might be completely different. I don't know. I started out the window, watching people pass in the streets, lam posts reflection swift past the car, night closing in. I thought about the whole week. It's been such a hectic one. Especially family. See my grandparents here, see my cousins there. Telling my mum u was going to be on a show! She knew I loved that show, since the first time ever I changed the channel, looking for something good to watch. I found Saturday Night. It always wrapped up the end of the week/beginning of a new week for me. But I hated it was only once a week! Sometimes, if I was having a bad day, it felt like hours and hours, days and days, weeks and weeks, months and months, years and years, ok...maybe I was exaggerating a bit there. But then, my thoughts got snapped out off as the taxi stopped.

'This is it girlies. Have a fun night!'

I handed all my change to the driver and we got out as he waved off. There, in front of our eyes, were the big letters spelling out: Saturday Night Studio. It was like heaven! And it was flipping huge! Like five times the size of my mansion, and that's something!
