2. The Boys

Aria’s P.O.V.

I woke up, the bottom half of my body paining like hell. As my eyes focused, I realized I was in an unfamiliar room. It was large, with huge glass windows and a nice dresser. I was lying on a comfortable bed. Instinctively, I looked to both of my sides, making sure there weren’t any strangers sleeping with me. I could not remember why I was here. I wanted to go home. I needed my fathe-

My father.

Memories from the night before started flying back. He had taken me into the alleyway, his nice blue eyes staring quirkily at me. And then he had slapped me. And punched me. Then raped me.

I found my heart thumping fast. I was scared. Terrified, in fact. I no longer wanted to go home. Home was no longer home. I sat up on the soft plushy bed, trying to gather my thoughts. I then remembered the beautiful boy who had helped me, and brought me to this hotel. That explained my location now. Right on cue, the beautiful boy from my thoughts quietly walked into his room, his eyes widening when he saw me looking back at him.

“You’re up,” he smiled, and I remembered his name was Liam. He came towards me, but I quickly shifted to the other side of the bed, scared of this strangers contact. I didn’t know him. He did not have the right to put a finger on me.

“Who are you?” I asked, my breath shakier than I had wanted it to be. His gorgeous deep brown eyes, softened as he sat down at the edge of the bed, only a foot away from me. My fist were clenched, ready to throw out a defensive punch at any second.

Liam smirked lightly. “First of all, I am not going to hurt a beautiful girl like you. Second of all, I’m Liam Payne, though I believe I did introduce myself last night.”

He had his arms neatly folded on his lap, no threat showing. My muscles relaxed a bit, and I scooted closer to him.

“And my name Aria.” I said, hesitantly holding out my hand. He shook it gently.

“Would you like something to eat? We’re going down for some breakfast in a bit.”

“Who is ‘we’?”

“Oh! My ban- um, my friends. Would you like to meet them?” Liam said, stuttering with his words. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to meet them. I don’t know why, but I felt like I could trust Liam.

“Okay. Why not?”

“Alright. Follow me.” Liam smiled, getting up off the bed. I kicked the covers off me and got out of bed. It then occurred to me than the V-neck I was wearing a big on me, and definitely not mine. I was wearing someone’s boxers, and my guards instantly came up again.

“Whose clothes are these?” I demanded, frowning at Liam. His cheeks turned pink.

“Um, those are mine.” He admitted. Anger raged through me.

“Who undressed me?” I continued, my teeth clenched together tightly. At my question, Liam’s mouth dropped.

“I promise I didn’t undress you. After I found you in that alleyway yesterday night, your clothes were dirty so I gave you my clothes but I think you were too tired to notice you were changing. I promise, Aria.” He explained, his beautiful eyes drooping into puppy dog eyes. I gulped.

“You swear?” I questioned, feeling a bit bad.

“I swear to God.”

“Okay, then. Now Where are your friends?” I said, trying to change the awkward subject. Liam thankfully smiled.

“Right this way.”

He led me out of my room and knocked on another door. A boy with striking blue eyes and blonde hair opened the door in sweats and a V-neck. He was also gorgeous. We shared an awkward stare, but I couldn’t look away from his gorgeous eyes.

“Niall, this is Aria.” Liam coughed, gesturing to me. Niall shook his head a little, a cute smile spreading on his face.

“Hello. I’m Niall.” ‘Niall’ said, sticking out his hand. I shook it and smiled back, trying to not lose my breath from his gorgeous eyes.

“Aria.”

“Niall, stop drooling and let the poor girl and me in.” Liam smirked, pushing past Niall and taking my wrist, pulling me in, too. The first thing I saw were a bunch of clothes and carrots spread out all over the formally clean carpet of the suite. I then looked farther into the room the see three other gorgeous looking guys staring back at me with weird smiles on their faces.

“Uhm…” I mumbled, feeling the tension in this awkward moment.

The guy with curly brown hair got off the couch and walked towards me first, then the sexy one with black hair and tanned skin followed. The one with short cut Justin Bieber hair seemed to be asleep.

“Get up, Louis! There’s a girl here to meet you!” said Niall, going over to shake ‘Louis’ limp body. I stifled a laugh. The curly haired one approached me first, wrapping his arms around me for a hug.

“My name is Harry. Nice to meet you.” He said, pulling away from the hug.

“Aria.” I answered simply.

The one with black hair came next, biting his lip. I found it extremely attractive when guys bit their lips. He was rubbing the back of his neck, a small smile on his face. His breathtaking caramel eyes twinkled even in the dim lighting.

“Zayn’s the name.” he chuckled lightly, holding out his hand.

I shook it firmly, smirking a bit. “Aria.”

He let go and pulled me into a quick hug, letting go just as fast. I wondered how all these boys were so comfortable around such an ugly creature like me.

Niall had managed to get Justin Bieber boy up. Louis, apparently. Louis stumbled towards me, cursing at Niall. He was about a foot away from me when he looked up. He blinked his eyes and then looked up at me again, this time cracking a smile.

“For a second I thought I was imagining a beautiful blonde girl in my hotel room, but nope.” Louis laughed, his voice ringing throughout the room. I didn’t know why, but I let out a giggle.

“You must be Louis.” I grinned, this time, sticking out my hand before he could. He shook it with almost a proud enhancement, then leaned over and kissed me cheek. I instantly felt my cheeks heat up.

“Yep. And you’re Aria, correct?”

I nodded. I took a deep breath, knowing what I was about to say might be classified as risky. “So, where is the unattractive one of your friends, Liam?”

Liam grinned, crossing his arms over his chest. “Don’t have any.”

“Oh, that’s too bad. I normally go for the less attractive ones.” I played along. I caught Niall and Zayn raising their eyebrows but quickly covering it up. These guys seemed pretty cool, considering that they hadn’t really critized me yet.

“That’s funny. Do you like carrots, Aria?” Louis asked, making me think twice about them being cool.

“I guess?”

“Then I like you.” Louis declared, squishing my already aching body into a hug. There was an uncomfortable silence between the six of us. Harry was whistling over in the corner while Zayn ran his fingers through his perfectly messy hair while staring at the ground. Niall was eyeing the fruit basket of the table and Liam was tapping his foot with his hands shoved in his pockets. Louis kind of just sat there staring at me.

Talk about uncomfortable.

“Are you guys always this…” I started, searching for the correct words.

“Special?” Liam finished, one of his eyebrows perked. I nodded in an agreement. The other boys looked at Liam and then to me.

“Yeah.” They all said at the exact same time. I laughed, nervously scratching my neck.

“I’m hungry. I don’t want hotel breakfast. How about I-Hop?” Niall spoke up, his eyes brightening. Harry rolled his eyes.

“Food is literally the only thing you care about, isn’t it Niall?”

“Got a problem with that?” Niall snapped, walking back to the sofa. He sat down at kicked his legs up.

“I think I-Hop sounds good.” Louis announced and Zayn and Harry nodded.

“IHop it is then.” Liam smiled at me. One problem. I didn’t have any clothes. Except the ones I’d worn last night when I’d gotten hurt in the alleyway. Those ones were dirty and carried horrible thoughts. Liam led me back to my room, which was ten times cleaner than the guys room.

“Liam?” I started when we entered.

“Yes, love?”

“I uh, don’t have any clothes to wear.” I mumbled embarrassed. Liam grinned.

“Don’t worry. I took your clothes down to the washer room and got them cleaned.” He said. Liam walked into the connected bathroom and came out with my jeans and shirt. Liam was a lifesaver.

“Oh, thanks.” I smiled, taking my clothes from him. He was turning to leave when I stopped him again.

“Liam.”

He turned around, surprisingly not looking annoyed. “Yeah?”

It took me a second to generate some words, but finally I got myself together. “I… I don’t want to go back home. M-my dad is there.”

Liam’s face turned serious. He walked back towards me, pulling me into a brotherly type hug. I still flinched at the unfamiliar touch, anyways. Actually, I still flinched at every touch. What had happened just the night before had scared the living hell out of me.

“Don’t worry. We’ll think of something.” He whispered, making me feel all warm inside.

“Do you think we could go back some time and get more of my stuff?” I asked, pulling away.

“Of course. Maybe later today?”

“Yeah. That sounds alright.”

“Okay, well I need to get changed. I’ll see you in a bit.” Liam said, smiling before he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
