26. Mushy Gushy Love Fest

“Oh, what is this?” a loud voice announced. I opened my eyes, to see Louis standing in front of the bed, Liam, Harry and Zayn surrounding him with evil smiles.

“What’s what?” I croaked tiredly, shoving my face back into Niall’s chest. Wait. Niall’s chest?

“What’s happening? What wrong?” Niall yelled, sitting up instantly. He rubbed his eyes, looking around the room cautiously. He then saw the boys.

“Thanks for answering my texts, Niall.” Liam smirked, rolling his eyes. Niall didn’t seem the least bit embarrassed that we had been caught in bed together. Not that we were doing anything dirty, but still, my cheeks were red for sure.

“So, what happened here last night?” Liam asked, ignoring Niall’s comment. Niall glanced at me for the first time that morning, a smile growing on his perfect face.

“Nothing.” Niall sang, slipping his arm under my waist and bringing me closer to him.

“Okay, something definitely happened.” Harry laughed, smiling at the two of us. I wasn’t exactly sure how I felt about Harry. I didn’t like him or anything, but after he kind of set me up, I had my doubts.

“We don’t kiss and tell, lads.” Niall groaned, re-thinking his words and veering his mouth with an “oops”.

“You guys kissed?” Liam clapped excitedly, while Louis jumped up and down like a five year old. Zayn had that “I knew it was coming” look on his face while Harry waggled his eyebrows.

“May-be.” I giggled, rested my head in the crook of Niall’s neck. He shivered slightly, and I decided that I liked the affect I had on him.

“I think we should leave them alone then.” Louis winked, heading for the door first. Zayn followed, then Liam.

“Don’t be too naughty.” Harry chuckled. Once we heard the door click, Niall let out a breath he seemed to have been holding in.

“That was a bit weird.” He laughed, putting his weight on one side so he was facing me.

“They are all so…curious.” I giggled, messing with his hair.

“You are so cute.” Niall grinned, stroking my cheek with the back of his hand.

“Me? Cute? That’s offensive.” I smirked, rolling my eyes.

“No. It’s cute.” Niall laughed, rolling to the edge of the bed and sitting up.

“Want to shower first, or shall I go?” he asked, looking back at me with those bright blue eyes that drove me mad.

“You can go.” I said, shooing him into the bathroom. Once he was out of earshot, I let out a small squeal. I was really happy right now. Before I fully knew what I was doing, I was picking up my phone, sending a text to Eleanor.

Me: Guess what happened last night???

Eleanor responded: OMG NO WAY.

Me: what do you think?

Eleanor: it has to do with Niall?

Me: well, he kissed me yesterday... :)

Me: Yup, apparently so!

Eleanor: ooh, well, I need to shower but good luck!

Me: Bye!

After taking turns for the shower, I changed into jeans shorts, of course, and a casual grey V-neck. I twirled my hair into a top knot and bounced happily into the kitchen where all the boys and Niall were talking. They stopped in mid-conversation and turned towards me.

“Niall, your girlfriend’s here.” Louis shouted, causing Niall and I to both blush.

“Shut up.” We mumbled to Louis at the same time. Louis rolled his eyes as I took a seat between Liam and Zayn, the only open one.

“Sorry that Louis is being an asshole.” Liam whispered, loud enough for Louis to hear. Louis rolled his eyes sassily, preparing to fire back. Harry stopped him.

“I think we should all go out today.” Harry spoke up, resting his elbows on the table. We stared at Harry for a second before Niall said what everyone else was thinking.

“You’re stupid. We’ll get mobbed.”

Harry smirked. “I didn’t mean all together, you idiot. We can split up. Niall and Aria, Lou and I, and Liam and Zayn.”

“But I wanna go with Aria.” Zayn whined, clutching my upper arm with his big hands. He rubbed his cheek against my skin, causing Niall to turn away with a frown.

“Well, who agrees with Harry?” Liam said loudly, gaining everyone’s attention. Harry, Liam, Louis and I raised our hands, as well as Niall who winked at me.

“Majority rules, peace out!” Louis grinned, grabbing Harry by the arm, probably to go decide where they would go. Liam and Zayn decided they would go explore the middle of the city, leaving the room to get changed. Niall and I sat silently across from each other, not knowing what to say or do. I knew I was blushing and I couldn’t control it either. That’s just what Niall did to me.

“You choose.” He finally said, an irresistible half smile on his lips. I thought for a moment, then an obvious destination popped into my head.

“We should go see the Eifel Tower for real.” I whispered, or somewhat gasped. Niall chuckled, slowly nodding his head.

“Alright. You, me, and the Eifel Tower today.” Niall replied. “I’ll go change.”

Twenty minutes later, the other boys had left the bungalow while Niall was still getting ready. I was getting quite impatient, but forced myself to stay on the couch. Thank god, he came out just a second later. He looked absolutely gorgeous.

He was wearing his favorite purple snapback, (which had also become my favorite for him), a simple long sleeved tee with a sleeves pushed up, and jeans. It didn’t look like he had actually tried, but he still looked perfect. I looked like utter crap compared to him.

“You’re beautiful.” He said quietly, as if he could read my mind. I stared at him for a second, before he took my hand and pulled me off of the couch.

“Say that you know it,” he whispered, “or else.”

“Or else what?” I whispered back seductively. He gulped, narrowing his eyes at me with a smirk on his face.

“Tickle time!” he yelled, crashing onto the couch on top of me. He tickled my sides, knowing that was where I was most ticklish, firing up my giggling. Oh god. I swear, Niall would be the death of me. By the time he had stopped with the terrible tickling, we were lying breathless on the couch beside each other. I kept my distance from him.

“Ready to go?” he asked after a while, looking over at me with a sly grin. I wanted to punch that pretty little face so badly.

“You kidding?” I gasped, “I’m still recovering!”

“You’re such a baby.” He groaned, picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. He began walking towards the kitchen, grabbing a bag of chips before heading for the front door.

“Put me down, Niall!” I screamed, struggling to get out of his arms. Honestly, I liked this.

“Fine.” He sighed, dropping me. He literally had just let go off me, right when I was sure I would die from a painful crash to the ground, I felt strong hands holding me from around my back and under my thighs.

“Gotcha.” Niall whispered. He leaned down, his lips brushing lightly over mine. Just as we were about to kiss, we were interrupted by a loud car horn.

“Taxi’s here.” Niall sighed, putting me down with a frown.

“Later.” I giggled, kissing his cheek. He smiled and grabbed my hand, slipping into the taxi that was waiting for us. Soon, we were off.

Niall’s P.O.V.

“Oh my GOD!” Aria squealed, pressing her finger against the glass to point at the large piece of art towering over us like a five year old. “Isn’t it beautiful?”

I grinned, looking out at the Eifel Tower. It was quite amazing, actually. “Beautiful is right.”

Once the taxi had dropped us off, Aria was dragging me around, picking up random travel brochures and maps along the way. She was so adorable. Around noon, she started complaining that she was hungry. Thank god she did, because at that point I was starving and about to fail at keeping it in. We stopped at a small café along the sidewalk of the tower grounds, stepping into a quiet and cozy atmosphere.

There were a few couples and families sitting and eating while munching on food. I took Aria over to a table for two, pulling out her chair, then sitting across from her. Moments later, a French waiter came and asked us for our orders. Imagine how look that had taken.

“Everything is so perfect so far.” Aria moaned happily, sinking her teeth into a strawberry filled croissant. She would eat croissants for lunch.

“I hope so. I want to make everything moment with you unforgettable.” I smiled back, slurping at my hot chocolate.

“How about we walk around for a while, and then when it gets darker, we can go to the top of the tower?” Aria suggested, an excited twinkle in her eye.

“Sounds like a plan.” I agreed, watching as she smiled happily. My eyes flickered down to her lips, which I noticed she had applied gloss to, today. She normally didn’t wear much makeup at all, which was how I liked her. She was naturally beautiful but she just didn’t know it.

7:00pm (Approximately seven hours later)

“Can we take the elevators to the top, Ni?” Aria asked, her hands locked in a begging position. I chuckled at her immaturity, realizing this was one of my most favorite things about her.

“Of course, love.”

Lacing my fingers through hers, we made our way to the line of people waiting to see the city of Paris in one view. I could see Aria starting to get impatient, the way her foot was tapping constantly on the cement floor. The line we were waiting in would take a good hour to get through.

“Aria, I want you to take a deep breath.”

Aria inhaled and exhaled a few times, looking at me mockingly.

“Better?” I questioned, setting my hands on her shoulders.

“Better.” She agreed, cocking her neck a bit. She raised one eyebrow and stuck her tongue out, making a silly, yet cute face. Would she really ever be mine?

About an hour later, we were crowded in a large elevator, carrying people higher and higher into the Aria. I could tell Aria was trying to hold in a fan girl scream, only she was screaming for a tower, not a band or human being. She was different in that way. She didn’t care either. And that, was attractive.

We were currently looking out at the beautiful scenery of Paris. The dark night sky, added the perfect affect to tower, which was now lit up for the world to see. Aria and I took a few pictures together, silently admiring the view. Most of the other visitors had left the viewing area and headed down to the small museum room, while Aria begged me into staying with her. Of course I did. I would never leave her.

“You know, I’ ve wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower since I was like, six.” Aria giggled, pressing her nose up against the glass.

“And now you’re here.” I said, watching as she pulled away from the glass and messed wit hthe mist of fog she’d left of the glass.

“Yup.” She sighed, a hint of pain sneaking onto her face.

“What’s wrong?” I whispered, stroking her cheek with the back of my hand. Aria shrugged, wincing every few seconds.

“You can tell me, Ari.”

Aria sighed again, looking up at me. “My sister and I, before she started making wrong choices… we agreed to come here together and make memories.” Aria gulped. “That never happened in the end.”

“It’s not the end yet.” I said, taking both her hands in mine. “We can make new memories.”

Aria smiled. “You’re right. I really just want to move on from my past.”

“I can get you started on that one.” I whispered, leaning in to kiss her.

Just as our lips were about to melt into the kiss that I had waited all day for, we were interrupted.

"Hey, kids!" A security guard yelled in a French accent. "Times up. No time for za mushy gushy love fest! Out! Now!" he yelled, pointing towards the door.

Aria giggled and grabbed my hand, pulling my out with her.
