The Creed A Generations Before

{I walk through the valley and the shadow of death but fear nothing in the darkness. That is what I will go through every day in this black world of mine of the hunt. I hunt for neither side of what a person proclaims but for the one that gets me farther on in life and teach the generations after me to fallow The Creed and obey its laws and regulations like I have done. I will learn through the past generations mistakes and kill swiftly and cleanly for my marking will be pasted on forever. ]
This is the promise i had made to my new family but i want to please them forever. I know it will be tough since my brother dosn't think i should do it but it is my own bloodline i have sealed the fate of, not his. I want to take the forever pledge, I know it won't be easy espesily in the life of the creed.

4. ch 4

Dinner was simple stew that my brother had made from some game that I had learned to salt by our neighbors and the rolls I had brought home from the market. I can see that Camren was staring at our host with dagger eyes and firry breath if he was going to strike Orin down he would have to go through me since I never had seen Camren act this way to a guest to make me wonder if they had met before.
The meat fell apart in front of me as I tried to sip it up with my spoon. I smiled and laughed a little as the chunk dived back into my bowl and I finished the leftover broth that was in my spoon silently as a ghostly silence fell among us. I waited a few minutes had passed as Camren still was looking suspiciously at our guest.
"So where are you from Orin?" I chimed with a smile and taking a roll out of the same soaked basket but the bread had gotten a little wet from the episode from that night.
"All around darling, I had been to places all around this land of ours." he said and it sounded magical to me that someone could see the world with such ease without a whim or a care about opinion.
"And what do you do to cause you to travel so much?" Camren snapped at him which even made me on edge on Orin’s answer. I started to look at both of them wondering what Orin’s ocupation trilly was since I was questioning it my self.
"I am a sailor my good man. Silver can you pass the rolls.” he nodded towards me and I obeyed while I can feel the chill between Camren and Orin as I gave Orin the basket.
"Well than what about you fighting off the thief and you using that sword?" Camren said glancing down To Orin's sword that was tied on his hip. I haven’t noticed it since he only used one for defeating the thief as the sheaf glowed slightly on the end from the firelight.
"Oh for defeating pirates or bandits since I normally get guard duty that or..." Orin said and then Camren chimed in.
"Killing as a part of an Assassin group." Camren said and Orin looked offended that Cam said it. Then I see a simple burn of something on his shoulder that was exposed by his open shirt by just a few buttons. I started to wonder what it was meant for.
"Well there are those as threats but we don't have them often. My looks like the rain has stopped! I must be going before i set sail. Thank you for the meal. “He said while standing up and going for his coat. I waited till I heard the secure shut of the door for me to stand. I was displeased with Camren that he let a guess leave in such embarrassment as accuse him to be an assassin.
"That was quite rude of you Camren!" I yelled and Cam sipped up his soup and smiled at the disgraceful and disgusting act.
"The man was dangerous. You should know better!" he yelled as he slammed his fist on the table making the dishes rattle and his soup spoon on the table that was still full from the spoonful  and I had it with my brother as I rushed over and just grabbed my cowl before opening the door. "Where are you going?" He asked while he was trying to clean the mess that he made.
"To apologize for your repulsive behavior!" I yelled as I slammed the door behind me and scurried into the woods while grabbing an oil lamp on the way out that was still lit.
I can hear his sailor like words and I thought that he will have to sit in extra time in church for the child he is portraying at the moment.  I wondered through the woods while the night sounds soothed me from the moments from earlier. I smiled at a shadow of Orin and I went right to it as he turned my way as his face started to glow in the lamp with shock and concern.
“What are you doing here?” Orin quickly asked when he noticed me.
“Apologizing for my brother’s ruthless behavior, forgive him he had always had a poisoned tongue.” I said as my mind studied his worn old face was tattered through long nights of work.
“That’s alright Miss, now if you don’t mind I have a target coming. Orin said and he pushed my head down into the bushes we stood in as he went back to looking at the now muddy road.
“You are a killer are you? I asked and he stared right at me with dark eyes that told me that I had hit a nerve with him. He looked at me sternly and I started to back away and he came with me matching my steps.
“How do you think that?” Orin asked as he got his sword out. I felt frightened for my safety as I looked for a way out of the situation but I decided that I might as well tell the truth because I don’t see a another way out of the situation other than being a victim to his sword.
“How swiftly you killed that man without a single flinch or even him knowing you are there plus I had seen your kind before and quite interested.” I said as I knelt at his feet and said the words I never would have said in a million years but all of a sudden I wanted blood on my hands with demons in my heart.
“It is an art and religion of what you are talking about Silva and you are so young. I cannot let you join.” Orin sighed and I was in shock he is turning me down even though he had never seen me but I have heard where he has been and seen partly what he has done to where I think I know what in the world I should be getting into or at least an idea.
“Why do you deny my skill and faithfulness? Is there an age that you need me to be than? If that is so than I will search for you at that age and that is my word.” I yelled. Then Orin huffed and looked at me with calm eyes like he knew I was quite stubborn as he put away his sword.
“Because The Creed is not something you dive into and it looks like I have to explain it to you, come.” He said as he motioned me to fallow him.
