The Creed A Generations Before

{I walk through the valley and the shadow of death but fear nothing in the darkness. That is what I will go through every day in this black world of mine of the hunt. I hunt for neither side of what a person proclaims but for the one that gets me farther on in life and teach the generations after me to fallow The Creed and obey its laws and regulations like I have done. I will learn through the past generations mistakes and kill swiftly and cleanly for my marking will be pasted on forever. ]
This is the promise i had made to my new family but i want to please them forever. I know it will be tough since my brother dosn't think i should do it but it is my own bloodline i have sealed the fate of, not his. I want to take the forever pledge, I know it won't be easy espesily in the life of the creed.

2. ch 2

I am really in trouble now with Camren now.” I ran through the rain storm with my basket full of bread from the baker and I thought I would be home before the storm hit. The shadows were all around me as I tried to rush though the wooded and muddy streets. The only time I thought it was fine but still frightened inside was when the thunder sounded fallowed by a nice flash of lighting to see that there was nothing there to be afraid of.
I ran as fast as I could and for a summer day the rain was cold and had soaked through my cowl  that I had over my thin dress since I didn’t think the town folk would gossip so  much with the cloak. I can hear other feet behind me, running a lot faster than me. I wished I had some sort of protection with me as the sound kept getting closer and closer with every step and I knew I wouldn’t outrun the person, not by stamina but by speed.
The next thing I know the person tried to yank the basket right out of my hands. The thief was tugging hard on my basket to where I almost had to let go of everything in my basket which consisted of the bread and my coins that I got back as change from the market. I can feel his gloves scrape across my hands and knew I could fight back.
I quickly glanced at his face that was chiseled out and worn. The dark brown oval eyes and dark hair matched his smooth lips telling me that he is a desperate trail man down on his luck. I swung my leg and hit him in the back of his knees as hard as I could. The man grunted as he fell to the ground as I fallowed to a swift punch to the face to finely make him let go.
Unfortunately the man was relentless and didn’t want to give up. I knew I had to get some sort of weapon on me just to be sure that he used a knife on me. I scrambled and saw a nice huge rock that would work as something that will block and maybe something as a weapon.
I swiftly saw him come out of the corner of my eyes and I reacted by using the rock to be lucky enough to be thick enough to block the shot if I did it right but I did not and felt the blade slash mu sleeve and made me get a gash on my arm. I cupped the wound for a minute as I knelt and felt the basket stay on my arm as thunder clashed in the sky telling me to look up to see the thief already in partial stride to kill me and I jabbed the rock into his chest. The thrust made him huff out wind as I can feel the blood stain my shirt as I hear and see for a second that he had dropped his own weapon. I smiled at the chance of an advantage while I scuffled for the knife but when I turned to make my own kill although by the time I turned around the thief was in the air with a sword in his throat and chocking on his own blood. “May I be at your service mam?” A tall man said he was a dark man with glowing black eyes because his hood covered them and his sleek brown hair was long to where it was peeking out of the hood of the long, plain, jacket that he was wearing to where you could tavernely tell anything else out.
I smiled at the offer as I moved my own hair out of my eyes. “I think you had done enough thank you I must be on my way before I catch my death in cold,” I said as I grasped the dagger and placed it in the basket by the bread.
“I insist miss; you look quite young to be out here in a storm to where it is high time for bandits and other fiends.” He said and I knew I couldn’t refuse since I am in this state, bloodied and not the greatest fighter. He offered his hand to help me up and I took it since he was a kind gentleman to do so.
“Much obliged.” I said as he led me home as the storm became not so frightening while he became my escort. I felt safer with him while I saw that the rain drained off of his shirt and jacket like rivers on a mountain to where both of our cloths were already drenched but I was happy that this man had saved me if not I would have surly been dead.
