The Creed A Generations Before

{I walk through the valley and the shadow of death but fear nothing in the darkness. That is what I will go through every day in this black world of mine of the hunt. I hunt for neither side of what a person proclaims but for the one that gets me farther on in life and teach the generations after me to fallow The Creed and obey its laws and regulations like I have done. I will learn through the past generations mistakes and kill swiftly and cleanly for my marking will be pasted on forever. ]
This is the promise i had made to my new family but i want to please them forever. I know it will be tough since my brother dosn't think i should do it but it is my own bloodline i have sealed the fate of, not his. I want to take the forever pledge, I know it won't be easy espesily in the life of the creed.

1. ch 1

I look at my stitched bookmark before me knowing that The Creed burns inside like a flame that will never go out a flame that I know will go into my grandchildren and their grandchildren. I know that I will be sealing a bloodline of fates for doing this but I know this is where they will learn to get along.
“Are you ready Silva?” I hear a familiar voice behind me.  I knew the person in front of me was the member of the secret society of assassins. I can tell that he had been training again like I should have been before the last ceremony. I took down my clean, white hood that I had on for the ceremony and moved my red hair out of the jacket that the assassins that I  am still willing to call my family gave to me.
“I am Orin.” I said in a sincere tone and trying to make myself look bigger than what I am but he just patted my head to ruffle it knowing that I worked at least an hour on it.  I smiled widely and scrambled to fix it after I stuffed the cloth in my pocket.
“You are going to have to forget looking as nice as you normally do Silva.” Orin sighed as if he had already given up on me and it made me furious that he would name me as girly instead of looking the part and enjoying the moment as our boots gathered dust while we walked along the dusty path.
“Don’t declare me gone just yet. I just prefer to look the moment.”  I teased as he knocked on the door with a gentle tap that way it could only be hard for a short distance.
A woman this time opened the door and recognized us easily. “This is the day is here already?” she asked and tinkered with her apron. Her frail gray hair was long and braded
“Yes mam and there are other’s like us as well it is our meeting day and we still have a greenhorn with us. “  Orin nodded to me which made me a little in rage since I hate it when people call me a rookie it makes me feel like I had just arrived other than being in training for almost a year.
“Very well, I’ll get my husband, please make yourself at home.” She said and it didn’t take Orin long to do just that as he sat down in one of the chairs while I gingerly sat on the sofa. I glanced around the fire lit house where several candles were lit to see the dusk sky. As the shadows danced along the walls where paintings hung and family treasures stayed on shelves to the large china cabinet.
“Are you sure you want to become one of us?” Orin asked with a sincere tone in his voice that made me question what his motives were. I had been going at this through one winter and a summer. In my mind I am still deep in the group ties while I did every entry idea that they threw at me.
“What do you mean?” I asked as my mentor finely removed his hood and his dark skin showed years in the group and suggested that he was a slave before he became a member and then my mentor and closest friend.
“Your brother, he hates what you are doing. Think what you are doing before you act.” He said and I nodded to throw him off my back as another nock came to the door. I glanced at the door while my mentor stood while another man came from the kitchen. “Be sure they know about the password or is someone that you know.” The old man said that came from the kitchen with his cane and the same worn uniform that I had except mine is hand sewn and brand new. His clean shaved face and salt and pepper hair was formed where he looked like someone that is a scribe. He walked slowly and with a cane as he went around his home and I only knew him as The Old Elder since that is what everyone else calls him but he seems to except it.
Another man came through the door and he was scrawny as a rail like me. His boots were worn and I was wondering how he can still use them.  His hood was up like everyone else that came in and I wondered if there were any spies since everyone was looking for us epically me, Orin, and the tall, slender man whom I came to know as Evel.
Soon we had five our normal number as each one of us had our hoods down for the moment. Each one of us is different since we are all from different cultures here in this land of ours. I knew that our elder was on to us as like the rest of the group. I could feel every single stare as I thought about what my brother had said about this even before I first heard about this Creed.
