Crumbling Walls (1D not famous)

Mariella thinks she is all alone in her life. She gets bullied every day and abused by her stepfather, all because she's Irish. She had no one until she met him - Niall. Pretty soon she has a whole crew of friends by her side - Jannsen, Jolene, Abby, Perrie, of course Niall, with Louis, Harry, Liam, and Zayn in his band called One Direction. Enjoy the love, drama, and friendship in store. (that sounds cheesy but i promise it's not)

NOTE:
I DO NOT SUPPORT ANY NEGATIVE ACTIONS PERFORMED IN THIS MOVELLA. I STRONGLY DISAGREE WITH THE IDEA OF CHILD ABUSE, BULLYING, AND SELF HARM.

ANOTHER NOTE:
If you saw the movie Brave, it would be easiest to read Mariella's parts in Merida's voice. (i just realized how close their names are.)

6. Getting Ready

 Mariella's P.O.V.

After I finished my soda, I manage to run upstairs into my bedroom and lock my door before Brad knows I'm home. I look the alarm clock on my nightstand. 5:45. I needed to get started right away if I want to be ready for my date with Niall.

My bathroom is connected to my bedroom and nowhere else, which is lucky for me. I take a quick shower and wash my hair. I check the clock on my way to the closet. 6:10. Just enough time if I don't take too long to pick an outfit and do my hair. I choose a teal tank top to go under a lace tee. I search until I find my black-and-white checkered harajuku station skirt and black Converses- my nice ones that I haven't worn yet. I apply some makeup to my face and a bit on my arms, because I don't have on long sleeves, and move on to hair. I decide against straightening it and curl it instead. I take a section of hair from the front, twist it, and clip it back with a black rose clip. I grab my purse and my black horn-rims and tip-toe out of the house. I call Niall once I'm outside.

"Hey Niall. I'm on my way there right now."

"That's great, I'll buy your ticket so we can go right in once you get here."

"Okay, see you later!" I say, hanging up. I continue my walk to the theatre, trying to ignore the thoughts of what will happen when I come back home.
