3. It's All About the Preperation

*A week later*

"Come in," I smiled when I saw Sam at the door.

"It feels like I haven't seen you in ages," He laughed, pulling me in for a hug.

"It's only ben three weeks but, yeah, I feel the same," I nodded.

"Nice place," He grinned.

"Thanks. I'm gonna go get changed but if you go through there, you'll find Harry and Emily," I pointed to the lounge door.

"Ok," He walked through the doorway and I heard him greet Harry.

Walking into mine and Harry's bedroom, I slipped out of my onsie and put on some underwear. I pulled on some corset leggings, a white Converse vest top and Harry's 'Teenage Runaway' jumper over the top. I'd gotten used to wearing shoes all the time and I just adored my new black and purple Vans so I threw them on as well.

I quickly put on some make up and grabbed my iPad, phone and some magazines. Brushing through my hair, I left the room and walked over to where Harry and Sam were talking.

"I'm gonna get some drinks from Godiva, do you two want any?" I asked.

"You can't go out there, you'll get hurt," Harry immediately answered.

"He's right, I almost did and they don't even know who I am," Sam sided with Harry.

"But I have cravings," I begged.

"I'll order them, you're not going out there and that's that," Harry finalised.

"You can order from there?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Did you seriously not know that?" Harry smirked.

"Whatever, smartass," I rolled my eyes causing him to laugh.

"What am I ordering then?" Harry questioned.

"You might as well just order the chocolixir collection of three, it'll be cheaper then getting three separate ones," I replied before continuing, "I call the double chocolate one though. You decide between the two of you who has which one out of the other two."
Harry and Sam nodded and went to pick up the phone.

When the drinks arrived, I sipped at mine very slowly, savouring the taste. Emily was laid on my lap, drinking her milk happily, gurgling in happiness occasionally. Demon was eyeing her as Harry stroked him gently behind the ears.

"Looks like someone's jealous, huh, D?" I laughed, ruffling his head in affection.

He tilted his head against my arm and licked my hand. I smiled as he nuzzled his face on Emily's foot and she giggled down at him. Looking over at the two boys, I heard them talking about football.

"You two are so boring," I groaned.

"Gem and mum will be over in a minute, you can talk to them," Harry chuckled.

"No, I feel like pestering Sam. You still haven't told me who this mystery girl is."

"Drop it," Sam muttered.

"But I want to know, you don't have to be embarrassed about it. I am your favourite sister so I'm glad you finally found someone," I giggled.

He slapped me on the knee teasingly and rolled his eyes. I looked down at Emily and saw she was still wide awake. I placed her onto her blanket, watching as she played with the mirror and teddy that was hanging above her.

"Haz, can I try a bit of your drink?" I smiled.

He laughed and passed me the cup which I gratefully took a mouthful of.

"Have the rest of it, baby," He offered.

"Don't tell me you don't like it," I frowned.

"I do but I'm not gonna drink the rest of it," He disagreed.

I hovered the drink straw inches away from his mouth, waiting for him to drink it. He took a quick sip before nudging it back in my direction. When there was a knock at the door, I passed both of the drinks to Harry and stood up.

"Hi, come in," I smiled, inviting Gemma, Anne and Tom through the door.

I introduced them to Sam and excused myself from the room when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hi, Ella, we're going shopping tomorrow, do you wanna come?" Perrie asked.

"In London?"

"Lemme ask Harry and then I'll text you back," I ended the call and stuck my head round the lounge doorway.

"Babe, can I go Christmas shopping tomorrow?" I quizzed.

"Yeah, 'course," He nodded and I quickly sent Perrie a quick text.

To: Pezza

I can come, be at mine for 11?xx

I moved to sit on Harry's lap, almost squashing the drinks in his hands.

From: Pezza

Can me and Z stay at yours tonight? The others are getting hotel rooms but we can't get one 'cause every where's full up xx

I quickly showed Harry my phone and he nodded in agreement.

To: Pezza

That's fine, but you'll have to sleep on the sofa bed. It'll be big enough for the two of you though xx

"Bye, Gem," I hugged her quickly, "And sorry we couldn't see you for your birthday."

"Don't be silly, you were practically in labour!" She laughed.

"You're more than welcome to come shopping with me and the girls tomorrow, I think your mum's coming round here for lunch," I offered.

"That'd be great, what time?" She asked.

"Whenever you're ready. We'll be leaving at around 11 though," I told her.

"When are the others coming down?" She questioned, taking Tom from Harry's arms.

"Perrie's staying overnight so you could always come for breakfast too, if you wanted," I suggested.

"Will do, see you tomorrow and get some sleep, it's gonna be a long day!" She scolded.

"Alright, calm down," I teased,

We both laughed before saying a final goodbye as I shut the door.

"I'm off," Sam picked his phone and keys up.

"Sam, you can't drive home at this time, the journey's about an hour and a half," I stepped in front of him to block his exit.

"Well I don't have anywhere-"

"You can stay here and go home in the morning," I cut him off.

"Fine, can I got to sleep now, though? I'm exhausted," He yawned.

"Yeah, Haz, show him to the spare room please," I told him as there was yet another knock at the door.

"Hey, babe," Perrie grinned as I opened the door.

"Hello to you too," I laughed as her arms smouldered me.

"Sorry," She giggled and pulled back.

Zayn gave me a brief hug before the three of us walked into the lounge. Emily was bawling her eyes out in her moses basket after being awaken from her sleep.

"Shh," I cooed, lifting her into my arms and gently rocking her from side to side.

When she continued to cry, I excused myself from the room and went to find Harry. I found him and Sam talking in the hallway outside the spare room and sighed in relief.

"Can you please stop Emily from crying? She won't stop for me," I passed her into Harry's arms and watched in awe as she almost immediately stopped crying.

"See, she just wanted her daddy," Harry smirked.

"Night, guys," Sam spoke before walking into the room behind him.

"Night," Me and Harry chorused.

"C'mon, Perrie and Zayn are here," I told him.

We walked into the lounge and before leading Perrie and Zayn into the kitchen. I heated Emily's bottle up then passed it to Harry so he could feed it to her.

"So, how are you feeling?" Perrie asked me when the two boys began talking about what they usually did.

"Yeah, I'm fine, she's definitely a daddy's girl," I laughed.

"I can tell," She agreed, "What do you need to get tomorrow then?"

"Umm... I need to get someone's Christmas present," I tilted my head in Harry's direction.

"What are you getting him?" She asked.

"Well he dropped his phone down the toilet..." I whispered, trailing off.

"So, you're getting him a new phone," She concluded.

We were seated in front of the sofa, me and Perrie watching TV while Harry and Zayn were playing with Emily. She frowned and pressed her lips into a tight line, looking over at me. I laughed and took her into my arms.

"Are you tired?" I asked, mimicking the pout on her face, "I'll be back in a minute."

I walked out of the room with Emily in my arms, grabbing my iPod on the way over to her room. Placing her down into her moses basket, I pressed on my camera and began playing the video Harry had made for her to help her get to sleep.

"I'll come and get you when me and daddy come to bed. Have a nice sleep, sweetheart," I kissed her fingers and put the iPod down next to her, tucking the covers around her tiny, newborn body.

I crossed my legs under me, preparing to wait until Emily feel asleep but soon got caught up with the sound of Harry's voice. Harry's beautiful, raspy, husky voice. Without realising, I began to sing along with the recording and abruptly stopped, scared that I was preventing Emily from sleeping.

But when I looked over at her, she was staring at me, almost beckoning for me to sing again. So I did and only stopped when her eyes were fully shut and her breathing got deeper, telling me that it was alright to go back to the others.

"I love you, Em," I whispered, walking out of the room to the sound of Harry singing You & I.

Harry smiled when I appeared through the lounge doorway and pulled me into his lap.

"What are we watching?" I spoke, looking up at Harry.

"Elf," He answered.

"Ooh, I love this film," I giggled, resting back onto his chest and staring intently at the TV screen.

At the end of the film, me and Harry helped Zayn and Perrie to set up the bed before walking into Emily's room and bringing her into ours'. Harry stripped down to his boxers and I stayed in my onsie.

"You're so bloody crazy," I laughed as my body moulded into his when we laid onto the bed.

"And yet I'm still warmer than you," He smirked, flicking the light switch.

"Night," I mumbled.

"Good night, baby," He whispered, leaning down to kiss me gently.

"I love you, Harold," I smiled.

"And I love you, too," He answered, "But don't call me that."

"Whatever you say. I'm on the night shift," I informed.

"Yeah, yeah," He replied.

I sighed and rested my head on his chest, closing my eyes and letting exhaustion take over.

I woke up the next morning to see Emily giggling to herself from Harry's arms.

"Let's go get your bottle, Em," I smiled, slipping her out of Harry's loose grip.

I tiptoed past a sleeping Perrie and Zayn, into the kitchen where I heated Emily's bottle up.

"Need any help?" Perrie asked from the doorway, causing me to whip my head in her direction.

"Hmm? What are you doing up?" I asked.

She shrugged and passed me the bottle I'd just heated up. I smiled, thanking her and cradled Emily in my arms as I fed her the bottle, rocking her gently from side to side.

"What's the time?" I looked up at Perrie.

"About 6," She replied after checking her phone.

"Did she really sleep that long?" I raised my eyebrows in astonishment.

"Nope, Harry was up with her at around four," She laughed.

When her bottle was empty, Perrie took Emily into her arms for a cuddle as I checked my phone.

I'm gonna leave in a couple of hours x

To: Gemma S

Ok, see you in a bit x

"I'm gonna go get dressed, do you want me to take Emily with me or leave her with you?"

"I could use her company 'cause there's no way I'll be able to get Zayn out of bed for the next couple of hours," She giggled.

I nodded and walked back over to mine and Harry's room.

"Baby, come to bed," Harry mumbled from over on the bed as I entered the room.

"I'm getting ready, Haz," I told him, walking over to my wardrobe.

"Why are you getting ready this early?" He frowned, opening his eyes slightly to gaze at me.

"Your sister's coming over in a couple of hours," I pointed out.

He groaned and lifted the covers up, attempting to pull me into him. I shook my head and laughed at him, dodging his arms by stepping out of his reach.

"Wear something warm, you don't wanna catch the horrible bug that's going round," He warned.

"Alright, mother," I rolled my eyes, slipping into some coral jeans and a white top.

"You're gonna freeze," He threw me a cardigan that I'd left at the end of the bed.

"If you gave me two seconds," I laughed.

I changed into the clothes I'd gotten out and pulled my hair into a ponytail, leaving a few strands of my fringe loose. As I slipped into my Converse, I rolled the sleeves of my cardigan up and pulled a beanie on over my head.

"You might need this," Harry chuckled, matter of factly, holding up my phone.

"Well obviously," I rolled my eyes, acting as if I wasn't about to leave it.

"You ready to go?" I asked the other girls as they all nodded.

We said goodbye to the boys and Emily before leaving the flat and making our way over to my car which we climbed into and set off to the shops. I turned the radio on but soon changed it over to a CD when there was no decent music playing.

"So are you three staying home this Christmas?" Gemma smiled as I left the road.

"I think we are," I replied, "But Zayn and Perrie might be staying with us until they can find a local house for the two of them so they'll probably join us as well."

"Just make sure you come see me and mum!" She laughed.

"As long as the offers open," I smiled.

"Of course it is! You're welcome any time."

"You've both been such big supports and I really am grateful of it. And I don't have a clue  what I would've done without you!" I giggled.

"It's not us really, it's all Harry that you have to thank. I really am glad he found you, you're perfect together and love each other will all of your hearts," She complimented.

I blushed and laughed awkwardly as I pulled into the main London shopping centre. Me and the girls arranged to meet up with each other for lunch at Nando's before seperating with me, Perrie and Gemma walking off to our first shops.

"Where to first then?" Perrie looked at both of us.

"The apple shop, I need to get Harry's phone so then I know if I need to get more money out from the bank or not," I answered.

"Okay, let's go," She laughed.

We walked off to the apple store where I paid for an iPhone 5s before leaving the shop and grabbing a quick bottle of Lucozade from Boots. Then we made our way over to the Perfume Shop so the girls could get some last-minute Christmas presents. I pulled out my phone whilst they were inside and saw I had an unread text from Harry.

From: SexyH

Have fun out x oh and can you tell Gem to go straight back to the hotel when she's finished xxx
My fingers hovered over in an attempt to think up something to reply with.

To: SexyH
Thanks, babe, don't get up to too much with the boys while Emily's around and definitely don't leave her with Louis x Will do, see you in a bit xxx

As I slipped my phone into my pocket, Gemma and Perrie walked out of the shop and I quickly told Gemma what Harry had told me to.

"Time to go, hurry up," Gemma smirked and hauled me and Perrie over to Primark.
*An hour later*

"So what did you get?" Danielle laughed when she saw the amount of bags I had compared to the other two.

"Harry's christmas present," I smiled, holding up the only bag I had in my hands, "What about you?"

"I got Mum's and Sam's Christmas present but I need you to text Harry for me," She replied.

"Why?" I asked.

"He's getting Liam's present then I'm giving him the money for it," She explained.

"Just come back to mine later and then you can speak to him about it," I suggested.

She nodded and we continued to eat our Christmas whilst brainstorming ideas for what I should get Louis. Once our plates were empty, me, Danielle and El bade goodbye to everyone before we headed back to the car to take El to work.

We dropped her off before driving back to my flat. I parked the car as close to the block of flats that I could get and Danielle turned me around as I climbed out.

"You see that house over there?" Danielle pointed at a house that was across the street before continuing, "That's mine now and Liam's now."

I laughed at the expression on her face before locking the car and walking into the lobby, moving towards the lift and pressing the button to take us to the top floor. When we reached the flat, I opened the door and walked through into the lounge.

"Where's your bathroom?" Danielle squirmed, jumping from foot to foot.

"Second door to your left," I laughed.

I placed my phone down on the table and was about to sit down on the sofa, when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist.

"Harry," I mumbled, "Where's Emily and the boys?"

"In the pool."

"We have a pool?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Well it was supposed to be a surprise for you but they just jumped in and started messing around," He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Please tell me you didn't leave Louis with Emily when he's around water."

"I'm not that much of an idiot, she's with Zayn," He rolled his eyes.

"Ella! I can't find the bathroom!" Danielle called.

"I'm coming!" I shouted back, "I'll be back in a minute."
