Chapter 6.

"Let go of me!" I whimpered trying not to cause a scene, but with neighbours like mine that is practically impossible.

"Jess! Wait-" Conor began.

It wasn't until it was too late that I saw what was happening. The shiny black sports car coming speeding towards me at a potentially deadly speed. One minute I was stood waiting in the road the next I was lying on the ground looking at someone else in my last position. I couldn't think of who it could be then it hit me.

"Conor? Are you OK?" I cried as I crawled to see who it was then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder.

"What happened here?!" Luke asked genuinely concerned unlike most people I knew. Luke pulled out his phone and dialled for an ambulance while I spoke to Conor.

"I'm fine Jess. Only my right arm and leg hurts but otherwise I'm fine. How about you?" Conor answered hoping to ease the tension. "Add a headache to that list but like I said I'm 100% fine, great, awesome.Cancel the ambulance!" Conor added attempting to stand up but fell down when he did. The ambulance didn't take long to arrive because Luke told them it was Conor Maynard! The paramedics had to argue with Conor to get him into the ambulance but Luke and I went in with him and 5 minutes later we were at the hospital.

"Young man you will need an X-Ray on your arm and leg. Just like your friend, the young lady, will need a check over before we can release you." The hospital staff argued but Conor could argue until he was blue in the face.

"I don't need an X-Ray. All I need is some paracetamol and my bed!" Conor replied, the same thing continued for the next 10 minutes.

The nurse came and checked I had no injuries which I hadn't. I was very lucky Conor saved me. Maybe him returning wasn't such a bad thing after all...
