This is a dream. A dream and nothing more. Don't listen to her, she's trying to hurt you.

"You want to know why Marcel engaged to you? That way he would leave you standing at the alter. He's going to break you inside out, he's going to destroy you and I'll have a front row view." Annabelle spat, a smirk adorning her pale lips. Tears squeezed from my eyes as I shook my head in denial.

"This is a dream. Not true, not true." I repeated, my right hand reaching towards the ring. I laid my fingers on top of it, only to feel an empty presence. The ring wasn't here. I gasped, bringing my hand up to my face as I turned my hand around. The ring was gone. Where did it go?

"Looking for something?" Marcel asked as I turn around, his height looming over me.

He held the ring between his fingers, an evil smile captivating his lips. I looked up with bare eyes, pleading for him to give it back.

"Marcel. Please help me!" I sobbed, sniffling as I wiped my tears from my cheeks.

"Why would I help you?" He asked, letting the ring fall. As it fell mid-air a ball of flame began burning the silver. My mouth fell open as I reached my hands out to grasp it. It was as if my hand had gone through the solid in whole. I perched my eyebrows, moving my hand into the fire. Nothing happened. My hand went right through everything.

I took it back in shock, holding it to my chest as I looked from Marcel to Annabelle.

"Told you!" She smirked, as I sniffed, coughing a few times to breathe.

I blinked a couple of times, regretting it because what I saw absolutely broke me. I wasn't in the graveyard with Marcel and Annabelle anymore. Instead, it was back in my old home in California. No, no, no. I couldn't relive this day. The memory was still fresh in my mind and the day haunted me. The day I got my love back. The day I almost died.

Ryder was beating Annabelle around mercilessly, which I found quite entertaining, until Marcel busted the door down. I shook my head, watching as Marcel took Ryder's life with no hesitation. He soon came to Annabelles rescue, pressing his lips to hers as I cringed.

No. This couldn't happen. It just couldn't. Before I knew it, we were transported to my old room. Annabelle laid on the bed as Marcel came to her aid. I knew what was coming next. Before I could shed a tear, Marcel was hovering over her. He only remained in boxers, she only remained in her undergarments.

I bolted up, sweat covering my forehead as my chest heaved up and down as I took long, deep breath's. Marcel quickly sprang up beside me, his arms wrapping around me.

"What happened angel? Sh, it's okay..sh. Everything is okay!" He cooed into my hair, as I sobbed into his chest. His hands caressed the back of my head, traveling beneath my bed of hair as he gently massaged my neck.

"W-Why?" I cried, sniffling as I nuzzled my face  into the crook of his neck.

"Sh, baby. It's okay! Do you want to talk about it?"

"A-Annabelle. Y-You. You said you loved her. You took her side and let the ring fall. You said you never loved me. Y-You said you never loved me...you destroyed me!" I cried as Marcel pressed his lips to my forehead.

"What are you talking about? You're the only girl I love!" Marcel reassured me as I nodded, embracing him closer.

"I-I had the dream." I stuttered. Marcel picked my body up, placing it on his lap as he scooted back so that he leaned against the headboard.  I wiggled my body so that I lay more comfortable on his thighs.

   "Tell me about it."

"Have you ever killed anybody besides Ryder?" I asked, without a filter, gasping once I finished. Marcel looked taken back by my question as he looked at me concerned.

"Y-Yes." He gave in as I nodded my head. This better not lead into what I think it might.

   "W-When?"

He sighed, his hands rubbing circles on my arm.

"Promise it won't change your outlook on me?" He asked. I nodded hesitantly, preparing for his answer.

   "I was fifteen."

"Who did you kill?" I asked, not ready for his response, "Where? How did the scenery look?" I asked, listing off random questions.

"Ther....there were two girls. On a sidewalk. My group had killed one of the girls parents and the guys made me follow her. Before I knew it, I had killed her best friend. I was going to kill her but something stopped me. I couldn't bring myself to kill her. I told her it was her fault but I mean it wasn't. It was mine. I regret it horribly. The girls seemed so young and I took one of their lives. Im a horrible person." Marcel sighed, shaking his head as a tear rolled down his cheek. I felt horrible for him but the shock caused me to crawl off his lap.

"No, Ella. Don't back away!" Marcel pleaded, turning towards me.

   "You know those two girls?"

"Yeah." He sniffed, looking up at me as I shook my head.

"That was me and my best friend Annabelle!" I screamed, my arms flying into the air. Marcel's eyes widened as his mouth opened, no words coming out.

   "Ella I am so sorr-,"

"Save it!" I spat, tears collecting in my eyes.

"I am so sorry! Please, you told me it wouldn't change anything!"

"YOU TOOK MY BEST FRIENDS LIFE! I SPENT YEARS CRYING! YOU TOOK MY FUCKING PARENTS LIFE! YOU HURT ME, YOU DESTROYED ME!" I shouted as Marcel flinched. After I had spoken the words, the realization dawned upon me. He had taken both my parents and Annabelles life. The people most important to me.

   "I feel horrid, I'm so-,"

"No. Just. I know I've forgiven you but this is something unforgivable. Im sorry..." I sniffled, pulling the ring off my finger. Marcel shook his head vigorously, tears falling from his eyes.

"Don't, don't! Put the ring back on please, angel!" Marcel pleaded as I looked into his eyes, my heart splitting. This guy who was normally this strong, tough guy looked like a lost puppy. His eyes were glossed with tears, some falling over the barrier.

"I'm sorry..." I whispered, throwing my ring onto the bed beside his torso. This engagement didnt even last for a week. Why was I not surprised. I tried to focus on his face but it was difficult. He stood in front of my, shirtless, his curls a mess as he sobbed into his hands.

"You destroyed me." I finished before walking downstairs. I'd get my stuff tomorrow but I needed to get out today.
