18. Welcome to the Teenage Life

So... After the not so good weekend Tyler and I were supposed to have, Mr. Right brought us back home, with a hell lot of security and new ground rules for both of us.

“You’ve got to be kidding.” I whined. “I will not have someone following me!”

“Phyre.” Mr. Right started. “You have to.”

“No! I don’t!” I replied. “I can take care of myself. I just did it!”

“You’re having one. End of discussion.” Mr. Right said. “In other matters, how are you with work?”

“Done.” I replied. “I have my work done for the next two months.”

“Perfect.” Mr. Right said. “You’re free from work for the next two months.”

“What?!” I cried. “Why are you doing this to me?!”

“We need to keep ALLA oblivious of your work for LSA.” Mr. Right replied. “Now please, keep your voice down. I don’t want my son thinking that his life is about to get ruined.”

“Well of course you’re not going to ruin his!” I rolled my eyes. “I’ll be in my room killing people via internet.” I added and left the room.

Who does he think he is? He can’t expect me not to try to find out who is behind me. I need to find out why they wanted my dad dead, and why do they want me dead now. This is just so unfair. Life is so unfair. Fuck life.

I I walk into my room and open up my laptop, I am so killing people on internet at the moment. I log into my account and was about to start a mission when Tyler appeared on my door. I looked up from my screen to meet his eyes and I raised an eyebrow waiting for him to speak.

“You got a bodyguard as well right?” Tyler asked and I nodded. “There’s this party tonight, and I really doubt that he is going to let us go.”

“And the reason you’re telling me this is because?” I questioned closing my laptop.

“I’m going to teach you how to be a proper rebel teenager.” Tyler smirked. “Get dressed, we are leaving in thirty.”

“Are you going to drug your father?” I questioned. “I have a sleeping pill.”

“NO!” Tyler cried. “He’s out on some fancy dinner. It’s just you and me, he won’t even figure out we left the house until maybe tomorrow morning when we are not home.”

“But we can lie saying that we went out for breakfast.” I shrugged.

“You’re a genius!” Tyler smirked. “Pack a bag we are leaving in thirty.”

Thirty minutes later, we are climbing down the wall to get out of the property. Our bodyguards are supposed to appear tomorrow around ten, so it won’t matter that we are out on our own before it. Once we are outside we ran towards the street, but where the light won’t turn us in with the security guards.

This is actually really cool.

“They are picking us up around the corner.” Tyler said. “We are staying over at Josh’s house.”

“Perfect.” I replied. “Is this Josh the one who umm tried to give me an apple?”

“Yeah.” Tyler chuckled. “He has some sort of crush on you.”

“Funny.” I rolled my eyes. “I don’t.”

“I know.” Tyler replied. “You like Adam.”

“I don’t.” I attacked a bit too fast, and Tyler gave me a look. “I’m not sure!” I exclaimed.

“Keep it down and hurry up.” Tyler laughed.

“This is soo much better than working.” I said.

“I told you.” Tyler smiled. “Welcome to the teenage life.”
