16. Weekend with Tyler Part 2

I woke up to the sound of bird chirping, it was pretty strange but it sounded amazing. I yawned and stretched before walking out of the bed. I entered the small living room our room had, and found Tyler sitting on the couch.

“Morning.” I said.

“Morning Phy.” Tyler smiled. “Wanna go down for breakfast or should we have it here?”

“I’m on my pjs man.” I chuckled. “And I really don’t feel like going down.”

“I’ll call room service then.” Tyler rolled his eyes playfully dialing on the phone.

As he made the call, I grabbed my laptop and hacked into the Hotel system, out of pure habit, I mean, my father used to make me do it when we went to Hotels for vacations. Security measures for him.

When I finally hacked into the system, I found out something. As I had felt before, something was not right within the hotel, and I was right, there was someone spying on us, who, that was yet to be discovered.

“Phyre.” Tyler said.

“Yeah?” I questioned half closing my laptop.

“Waffles for breakfast?” Tyler questioned.

“Yes.” I replied with a smile.

Who the fuck is following me or us?

Tyler and I turned to the next room in the second museum we were visiting. It was a really odd place, but odd places always attracted me for some odd reason. As I walked behind Tyler, I sensed someone following us. I stopped and turned around trying to figure out the person who was staring, I couldn’t see him or her, so I decided to ‘ignore’ it, and keep looking without being so obvious.

“Is everything OK?” Tyler questioned.

“Yeah.” I smiled.

“Are you sure?” Tyler questioned again. “Since today in the morning you seem kinda off. Did something happened?”

“Something feels wrong.” I said. “And I just don’t know what it is.”

“Probably nothing.” Tyler smiled. “Stop worrying for things you can’t figure out.”

I smiled at Tyler but kept my eyes and senses open, whoever it was, surely knew that I had training or was simply lucky.

After we finish the museum, we left to grab some lunch and then we got lost around the city. I kept feeling the person following us, and lucky me, I got a glimpse of someone hiding.

As Tyler entered a violin store, I told him I was going to the restroom, and ran towards the person I had seen hiding.

“Who are you?” I questioned as I cornered the dude.

“I have a message.” The dude replied.

“Speak.” I commanded.

“We’re ending you.” The dude started. “Just like we did with your father.”

“Who the fuck are you?” I demanded grabbing the collar of his shirt.

“I work for ALLA.” The dude replied.

“Tell your boss, to fuck off.” I replied knocking him out and taking his personal information.
