15. Weekend with Tyler Part 1

So OK, I’m so not ready for this weekend. Not at all. Absolutely, a hundred percent sure. Why? Well, because it’s the weekend is the weekend I have to spend with Tyler. I know I live with him, but I’m usually at school or at work, so I only see him for dinner, right before I lock myself in my room. This weekend, Mr. Right decided that it was going to be extremely amazing to send Tyler and me, to a trip.

“Are you ready Phyre?” Tyler questioned as I came down with a book-bag.

“As ready as I’ll ever be.” I replied.

“You know,” Tyler started. “At the beginning of the week you looked dead. What did you do?”

“Work.” I replied. “Plus, I was trying to keep up with the homework I’ve missed.”

“Interesting.” Tyler laughed. “You work with my father right?”

“Yes,” I replied. “I do work with him.”

“So boring.” Tyler laughed. “I want to be something less dangerous and you know hard-working.”

“Like what?” I questioned as we walked to the limo.

“I don’t know...” Tyler sighed. “Maybe a teacher, or a writer, who knows both.”

“Sounds like a plan.” I smiled. “You should be what you want.”

“Are you what you want to be?” Tyler questioned.

“Haven’t reach the position I wish for.” I replied. “That’s why I’m working for it.”

Tyler nodded at me and helped me inside. We didn’t speak for the rest of the trip, but he would smile at me every know and then. It was pretty confusing, because I don’t understand what he wants from me. I don’t even know what Mr. Right wants from me.

We arrived to the hotel, and Tyler went over to the reception to figure everything out, I took that moment to scan the lobby and the pool from the hotel. From what I could gather, it was really secure and expensive, yet there was something bugging me. Like someone wasn’t supposed to be there.

“Phyre?” Tyler said behind my back.

“Yes?” I replied back.

“Wanna check out the room?” Tyler questioned. “We can see the sea from it.”

I smiled at him and walked over. “Sure.”

*********

Tyler and I were laughing our butts off. We had managed to get some really great movies and we were on our room laughing from the idiotic assholes inside it. The day couldn’t have gone any better.

After we had settled down, we went to walk around the city, talking, trying to get to know each other better. We stopped for lunch at a small cafe, and then we kept talking and we did some shopping (he insisted). Afterwards we came back to the hotel and hit the pool until dinner time, where we ate at the fancy restaurant inside the hotel, and then we decided to come up to the room and watch movies.

“Do you want to see another one?” Tyler asked as the credits came.

“Do you?” I questioned.

“Not really.” He yawned. “Tomorrow we have a whole day planned.”

“What are we doing?” I questioned.

“There’s a tour of the city, tour of two museums, and then we have the free afternoon. At six we have a dinner and then we are going clubbing.” Tyler replied.

“Wow.” I said. “There’s a lot for tomorrow.”

“Are you up for it?”

“Hell yes.”
