Phyre Gunner: The Spy (Editing Process)

Phyre Gunner. Teenager. Rebel. Spy. Troublemaker. Genius. American. Genetically Perfect.

After the passing of her father, Phyre became the imperfect daughter. After too many detentions and schools, LSA comes looking for the one person that can help them save the world, the same person that is genetically perfect, Phyre Gunner.

19. They What?

I woke up with a massive headache and grunted as I felt someone next to me. I turned my head and saw Tyler sleeping with his mouth slightly opened. I let out a chuckle and snapped a picture on my phone. I check out the time and it was 8:00 am, meaning that we still had two hours before our body guards appeared at the house.

“Tyler.” I said shaking him. “Tyler wake up man. We have to go.”

“Five more minutes mom.” Tyler replied.

Mom? Seriously?

“I’m not your mom Tyler.” I replied. “Now get your ass up that bed before I beat you to do it.”

“I’m going!” Tyler whined. “Why so early?”

“We have to be back before ten.” I rolled my eyes. “Your father is not home by the way.”

“How do you even know that?” Tyler questioned.

“I don’t have any missed calls from him.” I smirked.

“Fine.” Tyler replied. “Let’s head back home then.”

Tyler and I thanked Josh for letting us crash at his place and we left to our house. As we walked, I thanked Tyler and we laughed at the memories we had from the party last night.

Even though I didn’t want to admit it, Tyler was right. I was teenager and I had to do crazy things teens would do, not secret spy things that I was used to, the only problem is the fact that I actually enjoy doing the spy things, I guess that I can do both.

“So you had fun?” Tyler wriggled his eyebrows.

“I wasn’t the one sucking faces by the pool.” I winked.

“You saw me?” Tyler questioned.

“With redhead?” I questioned and he nodded. “Yeah, I think everyone heard as well.” Tyler’s jaw fell and I laughed uncontrollably. “You were literally dry humping each other.”

“Please.” Tyler scoffed. “I saw how you stared at Danny, you were removing all of his cloth with your eyes.”

I laughed and winked. “I won’t deny it.”

Tyler and I climbed our back in, the same way we had left, and as I had predicted Mr. Right wasn’t home. Once inside I ran towards my room and got ready for the lazy day that was ahead of me. If I didn’t have to work, I had nothing else to do.

I tied up my hair in a ponytail and made my way towards the kitchen to get something to eat. As I entered I saw that Tyler was there staring at the news, his eyebrows furrowed and he looked concerned.

“What’s up?” I questioned him.

“My father.” He replied.

“What about him?” I asked again taking a seat next to him.

“They found his car smacked into a tree, but they don’t find him.” Tyler replied. “They’ve kidnap my father.”
