Chapter Three..

I don’t think that anybody hates the sound of the last bell. Hearing it was the perfect music to my ears. That small bell means my freedom, and even if I don’t have much of it at the moment, I can still enjoy it.

Shoving all the unnecessary books into my locker, I turned to walk away from the one hell I didn’t have to stay for long. The blue and yellow building, made me want nothing more than run away from it.

“Phyre!” I heard Rick shout as I grabbed my backpack. “Where have you been? I didn’t see you in Chemistry.”

“Rick.” I replied knocking our fists. “I’ve been around.” I added with a shrug. “I don’t think Mr. Reed cared that I missed his class.”

Rick let out a chuckle. “You are so right about that.” He replied. “Am I going to see you at the beach? Mini surfing competition?”

“Sounds tempting.” I laughed. “But no can do, I’m grounded for like the whole week, which means that I have more than enough time to finish Halo 4.”

“Man!” Rick sighed. “I’m going to miss you.” He added and patted my back. “By the way, make sure to make fun of Alex tomorrow, he answered correctly on Chem, he’s becoming a nerd.” He added before walking away.

“Wow.” I whispered. “Maybe I’m not a bad tutor.” I shrugged and walked down the street.

The thought of going back home and finish my game was prominent, but due to the fact that Michael might be home waiting for me, gave me another idea. The Music Studio has always been my go to place when my brothers are back in town, I have no idea why, but music has calmed me, and playing instruments makes me happy.

The fifteen minute walk wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be due to the weather. The one thing that I loved about the Studio, is the fact that almost every time I come here it’s empty.

Ding Dong Dang, sang the doorbell as I opened the door and entered the quiet studio. Apart from myself, only two other persons were inside, Mr. Blue the owner and forever awesome pianist, and a man in a suit, who was creepy enough to stalk me as I approached Mr. Blue.

“Good afternoon Phyre.” Mr. Blue smiled. “So long that I haven’t seen you here. What did you do this time to get into detention?”

“Good afternoon Mr. Blue.” I replied with a smile of my own. “I did a small explosion. Chemistry class if you wanted to know.”

“I’m guessing that no surfing or skating for the rest of the week?” Mr. Blue asked cleaning some Vinyl Records.

“You are correct as always.”

“I overheard that you had a new game. Why are you here? Not that I hate your company.”

“Yes, but there is a complication back home. So I rather stop by and you know, relax with the lovely music.”

“Of course. I’m guessing one of your brothers is here?”

“Of course. I understand. Do you want the guitar, piano or drums today?”

“I think I will stay with the piano today. I haven’t used it in a while.”

“Farewell, you know where to find it.” He added with a wink.

I walked to the back studio and found the 49 Key Pro Baby Black Grand Piano. I sat on the stool and started playing the first song that I learned, Love Story by Richard Clayderman. I know it is not the type of music that I like to listen too, but it relaxes me and makes me see things clearly.

I stayed playing the piano for the next two hours, simply trying to get out of the reality I lived in.
