12. Giggles

Chapter 12, Giggles

"Where the hell are we going!?"

I asked, as he started the engine of his silver Audi Rx-8.

"Do you feel like doing something absolutely crazy? Something you've never done before?"

I smiled at his words.

"Let's do it."

He drove out of the school car-park and down the main road. I turned the radio on and we both started jamming to 'Dirty Little Secret' by All-American Rejects. We screamed the words out rocking our heads back and fourth in tune, our hair flying in all directions. After a few songs the car stopped in a place I couldn't recognise.

"Where are we?"

He opened his door but I leaned across and slammed it shut.

"Do you really want us locked up in a car together? God knows what we'll get up to."

He winked and I moaned before slapping his forearm.

"No! I don't want you to go out because... You don't exactly have a shirt on..."

He looked down and blushed a little.

"Oh, I forgot."

He looked quite embarrassed.

"So where have you taken me?"

I asked, breaking the silence.

"Where do you think we are?"

I bit my lip.

"A strip club?"

"nope."

"A nightclub?"

"Nah-ah."

"A concert!?"

"Naw."

I sighed.

"Got my hopes up for a second there. "

I huffed. He pulled the mirror down and started playing with his hair.

"Just tell me where we are Harry! I don't like secrets!"

He closed the mirror and looked at me.

"It's a supermarket."

I paused for a second.

"A supermarket? Seriously? Why are we at a supermarket!? It would make more sense if we were outside a strip club..."

"Let's go through our options, shall we? Strip club - Not a good idea full-stop. Nightclub - We're too young to drink and don't have any party clothes. A concert - I'm pretty sure that if our favourite artists were coming we would have tickets. But sadly Ed Sheeran isn't in town for a couple of months."

After he finished his understandable reasoning I groaned.

"But what fun can a supermarket do us? Sure I love food but I refuse to eat in front of you."

He raised his eyebrow.

"Why not?"

"I look like such a pig when I eat."

He let out a laugh.

"It's not funny! It's so embarrassing!"

He picked up my hand and held it in his perfect fingers.

"Argh don't touch my hand! it's all sweaty!"

I pulled my arm from his reach, feeling awkward and embarrassed.

"Your hand felt lovely. And why would you be sweaty?"

I gulped.

"I'm sweaty because, it's um... h-hot in here, yeah."

I stuttered, feeling under pressure.

"Oh God, I make you nervous!"

I blushed really red and buried my head in my knees.

"N-no you don't..."

He leant in and whispered in my ear.

"I think I do."

I felt his hot breath on my neck, making my heart melt inside.

"Should we go? You know, to the supermarket."

I didn't answer, my head still buried in my knees.

"Jas?"

He started poking my sides, causing me to giggle.

"Jazzy bear..."

He tickled my ribs, I threw my legs off the car chair, laughing harder than ever before.

"H-H-Harry s-s-stop!"

I yelled inbetween giggles.

"S-s-stop!!!"

I got my grip on his shoulders and pushed him away, jumping into the back of the car.

"I'm gonna get you!"

He teased. I half screamed and rolled onto my back, lying down. Harry fell through the double chairs and landed on top of me.

His arms wrapped around my neck and we giggled together.

"I got you."

He pulled a strand of hair away from my face as I looked deeply into his sparkling green eyes.

"I guess you did."

He leant in and our lips met, and the world faded away.

Everything was perfect again.
