3. Waking Up

Cara woke up lying on the road and wondering what had happened and then she remembered; The car had come so fast and then there had been a bang and now well now she was lying there but it can't have been that bad Cara thought she had survived right. Of cause she had but where was Dal or the doctors for that matter and also where was the car? Cara stood up and rubbed her head and then did the vital checks no broken bones or sprains and she felt ok so. Cara stepped off the road back onto the pavement she may have survived once but even she knew she couldn't survive twice so she headed towards home.

"Mums is going to kill me," Cara muttered as she walked, she turned the corner and bumped into an old lady that had been dead for years which was a really funny site.

"Cara!" Mrs applegrey said excitedly, "Welcome I thought you would never come."

"Er thanks," Cara said sounding puzzled as she walked on, what did she mean by that Cara thought she had only been down this street this morning and the lady was the one who Cara hadn't seen in ages because she should be dead. Frowning Cara walked up the road and entered her house.

"Cara your finally here!" Cara's mother said running towards her and giving her a big hug, "I thought you would never come. Although I did think you might be a bit older by now shame." Cara looked puzzled what was she talking about.

"What do you mean I was here this morning," Cara said so puzzled at what she was saying. Then her father walked in and smiled.

"She's here is she?" Cara's father said smiling at Cara with a beaming grin.

"Yes but she doesn't know," Cara's mother said frowning, "Should we tell her now or later?"

"Tell me what!" Cara said furious that no one wouldn't listen to her, "Would someone please tell me now." Cara looked pleadingly from her mother to her farther a look of bewilderment on her face.

"No we won't tell her," not yet Cara's father said sternly, "It's not fair on her to give her loads of information all at once." Cara cursed and banged her hand down on the banister of the stairs.

"Somebody tell me what is going on now!" Cara yelled, her mother sighed and her father rolled his eyes.

"Fine you can tell her if you want," Cara's father said looking at her mother solemnly.

"Ok I will," Cara's mother said, "Cara you're dead."
