Resisting you.

She doesn't attention seek. He adores attention. She has no friends. He has everyone at his feet. She loved him. He broke her.

12. 10, hidden feelings. Day seven.

"Ok, so you know what you're singing yes?" Miss asks, waiting for my confirmation.

"Yeah!" I confirm to miss. I'm not even singing for Harry, I'm singing for Tyler.

"So when I announce the girls category, you will be last. Number forty." I still can't believe so many girls are in it.

"Miss? Can all the girls sing?" I ask biting my inner lip.

"Well, we like to mix it up; between you and me, no. I chose some popular girls because they seem so mean but they can't sing." Miss loudly whispered. I like her.

"Secret safe with me." I wink zipping my lips with well nothing aha.

"Well I will see you tonight, good luck chick." She seems to have a thing of saying 'chick'

"Bye miss." I say smiling before leaving.

"So keep flirting with him, maybe even sleep with him, just make sure Lana is around ok?" I go through the plan with Kiera once more to double check.

I need this guy out the way so I can sleep with her. God, so much trouble just for one babe to sleep with me.

"Yeah, yeah." Kiera replies rolling her eyes.

"So how many girls have you slept with so far?" Kiera asked raising an eyebrow fully aware of my plan.

"Seven, one per night." I say proud of myself.

"Oh wow, that's low, even low for you." Kiera says a little annoyed.

"Whatever." I bluntly reply. I don't care, as long as I get with my enemy's ex then I'm fine. It's hard though cause of how much of a complete bitch Lana is. I just can't help myself from that smoking hot body.

Kiera walks off strutting down the hall like she's some kind of supermodel.
God she pisses me off.

I just need this to work, I need to fuck another English girl, they're just so sexy.

"Mia?" I call looking down the hall to find Mia walking up towards me.

"Yes Tyler?" She asks raising her eyebrow.

"You know Lana right?"

"Yes. Why?"

"I need you to help me hook up with her." I request leaning against the wall.

"I'm afraid, no. You see I doubt she's forgiven go me for hooking up with Harry." Mia explains looking down in regret.

"Yes Mia, you go!" I say reaching up for a high five.

"Fuck off, and no. I will not help you hook up with her, she deserves better." Mia sternly spoke through gritted teeth.

"Lydia?" I ask sitting on the bench with her.

"Yes?" She replies smiling.

"I feel bad, like on Mia, she did say that she thought Harry was attractive, me and Harry aren't together so it's not like its a bad thing is it?" I explain looking down in a little huff.

"She knew you had feelings for him which is like stabbing you in the back, so she didn't have a right to be so inconsiderate." Lydia crosses her arms while making her statement.

"I still think we should go speak to her," I suggest raising an eyebrow.

"Ok, but when we next see her yeah?"

"Yes." I confirm.

"Harry." Lydia alarms, I look over my shoulder to see him looking for someone.

I quickly turn around and put my head down in hope that he doesn't, look nor approach me in any way.

"Lana," A manly voice calls, I just sigh and try my hardest to not slap him.

"Harry." I say sternly as he slowly approaches me.

"Before you start, I just want to say I'm sorry." Harry says with his head down, not even looking me in the eye.

"Hmmmm, funny. You can't even look me in the eye when you speak so why should I accept an apology, wait another apology for you messing up, again." I reply sternly narrowing my eyebrows.

"I'm sorry, she's just too clingy and I couldn't stop her!" The devil boy protested holding his hands up.

"Denied." I clearly reject standing my walls.

"Please! I will make it up to you I swear!" He almost begged with worry in his eyes.

"Look she's already denied. So do us all a favour and fuck off!" Lydia speaks on my behalf.

He looks over to me in wonder, whether or not I agree. I just nod not bothering to even answer.

He walks away with a regret filled frame.

"C'mon we better get you ready for the talent show." Lydia says smiling apologetically.

"Ok." I say walking with her down the hall.

I look in the mirror at my mid-thigh white lace skater summer dress and then at my tan sandals.

"Let's go." A rushed voice speaks grabbing my wrist and pulling me through the quiet hall way. I then enter a black double door to the side of the stage where currently, a eery horrible voice tries to make a tune. I look through the small curtain gap in the wing. It is... Jess?! Jess?! Ahahahaha. I help myself from laughing out loud as she horribly murders 'call me maybe'. It's quite amusing considering everyone's in there. Oh. Everyone. E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E.

She finishes to everyone in hysterics. She exits the stage confused, I begin to sweat a little.

"Thank you Jessica. Now could we have to the stage, candidate number forty; Lana Perry." The male presenter welcomed again exiting the stage. I take a deep breath before nervously walking on.

I look in the crowd to see Lydia sitting and smiling at me with her thumbs up. I scan through the lights to see Harry slightly confused. He never knew I could sing. I don't really know if I can but here's a try.

I grab hold of the mic stand with my left hand and lightly grab the attached microphone with my right hand. The small tune begins, I take another deep breath as the surrounding light darkens and the spot light appears on just me.

"All along it was a fever
A cold sweat hot-headed believer," I look to see Harry a little shocked and an overly grinned Lydia.

"I threw my hands in the air, said, Show me something,
He said, If you dare, come a little closer." I take a deep, breath as the song continues.

"Round and around and around and around we go
Oh now, tell me now, tell me now, tell me now you know." I see Tyler throwing me some seducing looks and I smile to him, I look over to Harry that has just noticed to see his face clenched.

"Not really sure how to feel about it.
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you.
It takes me all the way.
I want you to stay." I sing in a soft controlled tone. I close my eyes as I get into the song.

"It's not much of a life you're living
It's not just something you take–it's given" I sing, I open my eyes to see a few people smiling.

"Round and around and around and around we go
Oh now, tell me now, tell me now, tell me now you know.
Not really sure how to feel about it.
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you.
It takes me all the way.
I want you to stay." I sing truthfully relating to Harry.

"Ooh, ooh, ooh, the reason I hold on
Ooh, ooh, ooh, 'cause I need this hole gone
Funny you're the broken one but I'm the only one who needed saving
'Cause when you never see the light it's hard to know which one of us is caving." I vocalise with the tune.

"Not really sure how to feel about it.
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you.
It takes me all the way.
I want you to stay, stay." I sing emotionally knocking up the pitch a little. I take the microphone off the stand and walk closer to the stage edge as the spotlight follows, like a stalker...

"I want you to stay, ohhhhhhhhhhhh.
I want you to stay," I complete staring into Harry's eyes as he feels my emotions.

Claps and cheers fill up the room as I get a surprisingly good response from, everyone including Harry.

"Thank you for that wonderful performance Lana, Lana Perry everyone!" The female presenter sending me good feedback making me feel happy inside.

I get off the stage and release a giant sigh.

"Oh my god! You were amazing!" Lydia exclaims jumping up and down like a hyper bee.

"Thank you." I say smiling.

"Let's go back and sit down ready for the second category. Boys." Lydia over exaggerates smiling.

We go down the steps and through the black 'push' door.
We side step down the row as people shift their legs out the way for me. A fee nods and whispers are said me not quite making it out I just keep my head down shifting until I reach the seats. I look around to find Harry to find no one. Just Tyler biting his lip at me. I smile before slowly turning back around to hear the cheesy welcoming music and flashing lights go off. I make myself comfy and watch as the two presenters come back on.

"Ok, welcome back. Now we have a whole night of fun! Remember at the end when all the acts have finished you can vote, 'best female singer', 'best male singer,' 'best female talent,' and 'best male talent.' We will announce then the judges will see a final performance and decide the grand winner." The male and female presenters announce before babbling on about the acts.

After so many awful and good acts the end. The final boy to come on. I wonder who it is?

"Now we have the last performer of the night, Candidate number forty; Harry Styles!" The female presenter almost shouts. I feel extremely shocked, I never knew Harry could sing?!

"What the hell?" Lydia faintly whispers looking at Harry in shock.

"I have no idea." I reply clueless. What's this monkey ball doing on stage?

"Ok so this song, I wrote myself and it's dedicated to a very special girl in this room. She should know who she is if she recognises the lyrics." Harry speaks up at the mic, I look around the room to see multiple girls blush.

"Don't try to make me stay
Or ask if I'm okay
I don't have the answer
Don't make me stay the night
Or ask if I'm alright
I don't have the answer." I look around to see who's blushing, wait its Harry, it's Harry, Harry was singing this. Harry. Harry? Really? I was hoping someone nicer!! Aww damn.

"Heartache doesn't last forever
I'll say I'm fine
Midnight ain't no time for laughing
When you say goodbye." I look around to see other girls blushing. I just sigh as I know that this is dedicated to all the girls he's fucked. I look up to Harry staring at me.

"It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible." Harry sings emotionally into my eyes.

"I've tried to ask myself
Should I see someone else?
I wish I knew the answer.
But I know, if I go now, if I leave
Then I'm on my own tonight
I'll never know the answer." Oh your never on your own. We both know that.

"Midnight doesn't last forever
Dark turns to light
Heartache flips my world around
I'm falling down, down, down,
That's why.
I find your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes irresistible
Irresistible." Wait. Could this song be about me? No it's not. It's not. It's not.

"It's in your lips and in your kiss
It's in your touch and your fingertips
And it's in all the things and other things
That make you who you are and your eyes irresistible." Harry smiles pointing out his body parts to the lyrics still looking at me.

"It makes your lips so kissable
And your kiss unmissable
Your fingertips so touchable
And your eyes, your eyes, your eyes,
Your eyes, your eyes, your eyes
Irresistible." He finishes smiling at me. I smile back smirking at his cuteness to whoever that song was about. She's one lucky girl.

I stand up and clap along with the rest of the crowd. A few cheers here and there. Most girls thinking it's them although I'm curious.

"Thank you Harry for that beautiful performance." The female presenter said eyeing him up and flicking her hair. Creepy she's like thirty, all old and yeah...

"Let's go out to the back." Lydia suggests already pulling me from my seat. I follow along as we enter backstage.

"Why are we here?" I ask whining.

"Because that song was about you and you two need to talk." She explains looking around for Harry.

"No it would've been about someone else. Maybe even Mia." I protest coming to a halt.

"Oh it's defiantly about you. Oh look there he is." Lydia points out storming towards the stage door.

"No, no, no, no, no, no." I say through gritted teeth as she gets closer to the curly haired boy.

I turn on my heels and begin to walk away.

"Lana! Where are you going?" Lydia cheekily asks. I turn around to see her standing with her arms crossed next to a smirking Harry.

I walk up to her and I hit her in the upper arm.

"Well I'm gonna let you two alone. I'll be over there." She awkwardly speaks out while pointing over to the sofa a little across the room.

"So good performance I didn't know you could sing." I say smiling.

"Thank you, your voice was amazing." Harry shockingly compliments.

"Thank you, may I ask, who was it about? You know, your song." I ask with my mind filling in wonder, on what I hope he will say.

"I think you know who," Harry answers winking.

"But I don't, like I really don't." I say whining slightly.

"Maybe, you should look to the left of you." Harry points, I turn around to face a mirror.

"M-me?" I silently ask blushing.

"My way of expressing my emotion, it was all truthful." Harry also adds smiling, unable to look me in the eye, I notice a red colour appear in his cheeks.

I lift his chin up and cup his face smiling in reassurance.

"Well I thought it was beautiful." I say making his confidence build up again.

He takes my waist and pulls me in closer I rise to my tiptoes meeting Harry's eyes.
He leans down, me reaching up. I purse my lips and slowly close my eyes as his face nears.

"There you are!" A manly voice almost shouts causing the moment between me and Harry shatter into little tiny pieces.

"Oh hi Tyler." I say blunt.

'I'm sorry' I mouth to Harry, he nods knowing that it isn't my fault.

"You did great baby." He speaks coming closer, since when was I his 'baby' ?

"Thanks." I reply again keeping a blunt tone.

"I'm gonna go, see you later." Harry awkwardly whispers, I look round to see him walking away, I turn to Lydia that is sitting on the couch watching.

"I've been wondering... Would you like to go on a date with me?" Tyler asks practically oozing with confidence.

"Urmm," I drag, I turn around to a worried looking Lydia. I give her the 'help' expression she shrugs.

"Yeah." I say quickly, damn. Why did I say yes?

"Cool, I'll text you." Tyler responds before walking away.

"What do I do?" I ask Lydia that is walking towards me.

"Why'd you say yes I thought you liked Harry! You were about to kiss!" She replies nearly raising her voice at me.

"I know, I wish we did." I sadly admit.

"Argh." She complains digging her hand to her hair.

"I'm gonna go find Harry and apologise for Tyler's behaviour."

"Ok, meet me back here in fifteen?" She asks with her eyebrow arched.

I walk out of the room into the hall I look around for the curly haired boy. I look to the distant to the double doors, I see through a small gap a familiar head of hair.

I get closer to the door to see him leaning against the wall looking at his phone in sadness. I push the door and see Harry look up in scare.

"Hey." I say smiling.

"Hi." He replies sad.

"What's up?"

"Tell me." I insist.

"It's that Tyler guy." Harry mentions in a huff.

"What about him?" I ask leaning my head on Harry's shoulder with my back against the wall.

"I don't like the way he hangs onto you."

"What do you mean, are you jealous?" I ask confused at his remark.

"Me jealous? No I have- wait maybe a little." Harry corrects before he nearly got cocky.

"Aww that's cute!" I reply blushing a little.

"I can't help it!" Harry defends smiling uncontrollably.

"Could all contestants please be ready in the backstage green room as we are starting again in ten minutes." The announcer excitedly mentions through the speakers surrounding the auditorium.

"This conversation isn't over." I say winking before leaving the room to the main hall.

I go back through the doors and into the backstage green room awaiting nervous teens including Jess.

I stand awkwardly in the corner observing Jess's confidence. Where does she get it from? If I was like that would boys like me more?
