How sweet the Taste

With a world full of mysteries, secrets and lies, how certain are you that you aren't apart of something beautifully dangerous? Something incredibly supernatural? Anna was fairly certain from a young age that something just wasn't right.

48. Broken

Days went by slowly and painfully. I had a new bone broke for me just a it started to hurwhether it was a big bone or my pinkie toe. The boys fought over what, or rather who, I will be digesting in the furture. Harry wanted it to be someone small and week so I wouldn't have to much of a hard time. Louis, naturally, argued with him, saying weak blood weak bond. What ever that means. Without a doubt, I've been stressing about this. I have to kill someone and I have to do it soon. There's no amount of time to prepare me for this. I could have ten years to prepare and I still wouldn't be ready.

They've put me on lock down. I can't leave my room, the fear of being unable to go anywhere whithout breaking something is kinda scary. My body is in constant pain. The closer I get to the full moon, the more my body throbs. I can feel every painful blood pulse. Every hard beat of my heart in my chest. As the days drag in, my body weakens. I'm always in a constant fever, my body never truly able to break a fever. If I wasn't sleeping I was throwing up whatever the boys tried to feed me. My body has started to shut down. It seems like the more I try to fight it the worse it gets.

Soon enough my mind starts to go. I lose track of time, sleeping for a whole day sometimes. I get the boys mixed up and say things that make no sense. Some part of my brain screams at me to knock it off, to fight. But my human body is tired and worn out. It has done everything it could to prevent this from happening but what runs through my blood, the curse, the poison, is too strong. I weakly lay in bed and await my death.

I hear the bedroom door open and it takes all I can do to turn my head towards the sound. Harry stands at the foot of my bed, his curls pushed back away from hid face. The sun was shut out of my room, making the little bit of light that was in my room cast shadows over his handsome face. I just stare at him, waiting for him to speak. "We have everything ready. Just rest today. Save your strength for tomorrow night. I will bring you something up later so you can sleep peacefully." He says, walking quckly over to place a swift kiss on my forehead before existing the room. For the next hours I lay awake, in a slight shock that time as past so fast. The full moon is tomorrow. I have to kill someone tomorrow. Well, I have to kill two people tomorrow. One for my mothers side and one for my dads. My stomach rolled at the thought, making me swallow hard. If I get sick the only thing that will come up will be stomach bile. Louis came in a few hours later, helping me take the sleeping pills Harry had promised me earlier. "Dont worry about anything. I'll take care of everything and make sure you have what you need. just sleep and it'll all be over soon." Were the only words he spoke, given me a small smile before leaving me alone. It only took seconds for the meds to kick in and I was out for the night.
