You Can Run

There's one person who shares your tattoo with you. Mine, is a small bird on my lower left hip. The way our society worked was, this tattoo wasn't just any tattoo. You were born with this intricate marking. Your mission in life is to find your soul mate, in this case, someone with the same tattoo as you in the exact same area. The hard part is, there's many people on this world. "You can run, but you can't hide Princess."

I hope you like this. I am truly sorry I haven't updated in ages! Savannah is up there ^^^^.

Savannah's POV
I stand here. Shivering. Rain splattering against my body. My lips are probably blue by now, considering the fact that I've been out here for a while now.

I've gotten myself into this mess and now I can get out of it. They warned me. They said to stay away. But how can I stay away when he's just so captivating.

His brown eyes catch you in an instant. He holds your attention with every, petrifying look. I sighed myself, rubbing my finger through my brown hair. Why am I so gullible and weak? I'm always finding a way to get myself into trouble even when people tell me the results of my actions.

I take my lips in between my teeth as I ponder on what to do next. Thoughts swirling around in my brain faster then a blender, and it gives me a headache. My thoughts are interrupted my the screeching of tires against the pavement nearby.

"Is that her? C'mon before he comes." Voices echo through the dark ally. My eyes widen as I am frozen and am unsure of what to do next.

This is your time to be strong.

    You can do this.

My conscience encourages me as I quickly scurry to the trashcan and sit down by it.

"I swear she was just here! I told you not to lose her." A harsh, gruff voice sounded out in the darkness.

I clamped a hand over my mouth and steadied my breathing, shutting my eyes.

I sighed in relief as the footsteps fade away. Big mistake.

The steps quickly came back, easily spotting my place of hiding.

"Look who we have here." One of the buff men stated, looking down at my shaking figure. I closed my eyes, preparing for what I was about to do.

This is it.

Time for you to show your strength.

You can do it.

My leg shot up kicking both of them in the groin as they cried out in pain.

I took this as an advantage, taking off down the street. His voice echoing in my head as I made a run for it.

"You can run, but you can't hide Princess."

Hope you liked it ! We will update soon!
