11. Secar Detinu

The sight was beautiful. The sky was a light red, and the ground has cobblestone. There were a ton of different people (I got sick of calling them aliens.) running around and talking. Like there was no barrier of race and species. I felt like when the Doctor and I, a Time Lord and a human, walked out there, we would stick out like a sore thumb, but fit in perfectly at the same time. "It's awesome." I said, because I had no other word to describe it.

"Well, we don't have time for sightseeing. First stop, the palace." The Doctor took my hand in his, smiled, and pulled me along.

     "What's at the palace?"

"The queen. She is a Kaeye. As you know, Kaeye are kind; they think all types of species should live together. All except half-lives, of course. But the queen brings people to here cruely. She sends someone to go to the doomed planet and create a half-life which will explode when needed, causing near genocide.  The survivors come here, acting kind to all surrounding species. They have to. And thus Secar Detinu was born."

"What does it have to do with anything? I thought the Raguson were behind this."

"They are. Raguson don't believe in Kaeye's beliefs. Anything different is dangerous."

"You there!" A creature yells. She (I thought it was a she at least) was made of vines, or it seemed like it. She pointed a gun at us.

"We were invited to have a talk with the queen. Very important." The Doctor showed her a blank piece of paper in a little black folder thingy.

"Right through there. She should be in the throne room."

The Doctor took my hand once again, ad began walking, with me at his side. "Slightly Psychic Paper."

"Oh, I read about that on the Sonic Search. It says what you want it to. I think that is the throne room." I pointed to a room with two tall metal doors, engraved with a crest in the center. We were approaching it slowly at first, until we heard the scream. Then, we ran for it.

The door was locked, and I was ready to give up. Until the Doctor pulled a silver item out from the pocket in his coat. He pressed a button, causing it to make a sound and shine a blue light. He moved it along the outlines of the door and explained, "Sonic Screwdriver."

"Hey! When all else fails, screw it!"

"Sounds like something Captain Jack Harkness would say."

     "Who? Never mind."

We heard another scream, and the Doctor kicked the door open. It reminded me of The Emperor's New Groove, when Kuzco kick open a door, yelling "Boom, baby."

The throne room was just like the room in the dream. Except there were two monsters this time. One sat on a throne, while the other held a twisted claw at the first's throat. The one on the throne (must have been the queen) was trying to keep away from the other (Sorcer), but it was pointless. The back of the throne kept the queen from pushing back too far from the claw.

Sorcer seemed to notice us. "Ember and the Doctor. What a great pair. Too bad you will soon die," he hissed.
