About half an hour later Paul came back and told us that the van was now for sure in the parking lot. My body became tense thinking that we had to go back outside into that crowd. Forgetting that I was sitting so close to Niall, he felt me tense and gently rubbed the side of my arm and whispered in my ear.

“It’s going to be fine” I rested my head once more on his shoulder, and then we slowly got up and headed for the door.

“Wait” Harry stood in front of us and continued while looking directly at me. “Obviously you are quite claustrophobic, so why don’t we sort of go out circling you, so you don’t get pushed around too much” I immediately relaxed when he said those words.

“That would be great if you could do that” I looked at the rest of the boys hoping they would be in agreement. Thankfully they all nodded, and before heading out the door they all circled me with Paul leading and Niall directly behind me with his hands on my waist the whole time.

We got to the van with no trouble at all.

“Now that wasn’t so bad was it?” Said Liam as he buckled up his seat belt.

I nodded and laughed, and he just gave me a smile.

“So where are we headed?” The driver was looking in the rear view mirror waiting for a response.

“Well I think we have to drop MacKenzie at home” I knew that was coming, but my heart still sank as he spoke. I gave the driver directions and we slowly pulled out of the parking lot and drove down the busy streets.

“What time is it?” I realized I hadn’t checked my phone once, and I knew that my mom was probably having a heart attack and getting ready to call the police reporting a missing persons report.

“It’s 7:30” Said Paul.

“Oh my god, my mom is going to kill me” I put my head in my heads trying not to think of how much punishment I was going to be in.

“Oh come on I’m sure it won’t be that bad” Louis was trying to lighten my mood but it really wasn’t working.

“You haven’t met my mom” Was the only response I had.

The van pulled into the driveway, and the horses in the back gave a whiney of excitement.

“Aww my boys” It always made me so happy to hear them whiney when I pulled into the driveway.

“Well thankyou very much for lunch, still cant believe it happened, but thanks”

“No, I should be thanking you for actually agreeing to come.” Said Niall as he followed me out of the van. The boys said good bye in unison and Niall closed the door behind us. The windows were tinted but  that didn’t mean that I couldn’t hear the boys pressing themselves against the windows trying to listen to our conversation. I tried my best to make it look like I didn’t notice.

“So what happens now?” I asked while nervously shuffling my feet in the dirt.

“Well if you are willing, I would love to hang out with you again tomorrow. Only if you want to” He almost sounded pleading when he spoke.

“I’m going to take you up on that offer. What time are you going to come and get me? Just so I can let my parents know” He was looking deep into my eyes, and I couldn’t help to feel that he was looking into my soul, at least that’s what it felt like.

“We have interviews to do in the morning around noon, if you want I can pick you up and you could come and watch them”

“That sounds great, ok then I’ll see you tomorrow. Thank you so much again for everything you did for me today, you have no idea how much it meant to me” I looked into his beautiful eyes, and gave him a kiss on the cheek and turned and left to go to my house.  I took a quick glance back to see Niall blushing and opening the car doors to be greeted with cheers and laughs from the rest of the boys. I couldn’t help but giggle at their excitement.

I got to the doorstep and gave a wave at the van leaving my driveway and turned to see my mother standing directly in front of me. And she did not looked impressed
