Hazel's P.O.V

I put my phone on the side dresser next to my bed. I hadn't had much sleep. I would probably sleep on the plane anyway. I texted Cara telling her I was leaving soon. I heard my mum walking up the stairs and I heard her walk towards my room. I saw the doorknob turn and then the door opened. Mum walked in with a tray in her hand. She walked over to me, I sat up in my bed and watched her walk over to me. I extended my arms out and took the tray off her. She made me pancakes and tea. I smiled and looked up at her.

"Thanks mum." I said, she smiled and walked out the room, closing the door behind her. I huffed and looked down at the tray. My bedroom door swung open seconds later and Cara and Miranda ran in.

"Hey Missy." Miranda said, I looked up at them and shook my head.

"I'm still in bed." I said, Cara laughed. They sat down on my bed.

"You going to eat that?" Cara asked, I nodded and smiled picking up the knife and fork and cutting my pancake. Mum always made the best pancakes.

"What time are you leaving?" Miranda asked, I shrugged my shoulders and wiped my mouth.

"Soon. I should probably get ready, dont want to be late." I said, I finished the last piece of my pancake and put the tray on the side. I got out of bed and walked into my bathroom shutting the door behind me.

Cara's P.O.V

I know Hazel didn't want to talk about leaving today, that's why she's gone in the shower. Me and Miranda sat their quietly. I looked at her and she looked down. I got up off the bed and walked towards the door.

"Where are you going?" Miranda asked, I stopped but didn't turn around.

"I don't want to say goodbye." I replied, I heard Miranda get off the bed.

"You're not even going to write her a little letter?" She asked, I turned around and looked at her.

"A letter?" I asked, she nodded.

"It's better then in person." She replied, I nodded and walked to her desk. I sat down and pulled out a piece of paper and a pen. I started writing to her.

Dear Hazel,

I'm sorry I left you a letter without properly saying goodbye to you but, It's hard. I can't say goodbye to you in person, It wouldn't come out of my mouth right.

Remember that night I stayed at yours and we wrote a song together? Well, I loved that song, a lot. You have such an amazing voice Haze, you need to promise me that you will sing that song one day, make me proud. You already have though.

I hope you have fun in England. I hope people treat you right. You deserve so much. I hope we stay in touch and you tell me everything!

We all kind of new this was going to happen sooner or later. Don't promise that you're gonna write, dont promise that you'll call, just promise that you wont forget what we had, in our friendship. I wont ever forget you, I hope you dont forget me. I love you Hazel, stay precious. xx

-Cara xoxo

I put the pen down and got up out of the seat. I turned around and saw Miranda, she looked up at me and noticed the tears in my eyes, she walked over to me and hugged me. I cried. We heard the shower turn off and we quickly left the room. We walked downstairs and ran to the door. I opened it and walked out. I ran down the street, crying my eyes out. Miranda was running behind me, trying to catch up to me. I ran into the woods and fell down next to a tree. I rested my back against it and cried. Miranda was no longer behind me, she hated the woods.

Hazel's P.O.V

I got dressed and walked out the bathroom, only to find my two best friends weren't there. I went downstairs to see if they were down their, but no. I walked back upstairs and called Miranda. She didn't answer. I threw my phone on my bed and walked into the bathroom. I put my hair up in a pony tail and heard my phone buzz. I ran over to it and Miranda texted me.

"Check your desk." She said, I looked over at my desk and walked over to it. Their was a letter from Cara. I picked it up and started reading it.

When I had finished the letter, I was crying. Full on crying. I grabbed my guitar that I was going to leave here and started strumming along to it. Singing the song me and Cara came up with.

I was so lost in the song, I forgot the time. I heard my mum tooting the car horn outside. I grabbed my guitar and phone and the letter and ran downstairs. I ran out the front door and threw my guitar in.

"What are you doing with that thing?" Mum asked, I smiled.

"Just taking an old friend with me." I said, she smiled and I got in the front seat. She hit the gas pedal and started driving me to the airport. Ed Sheeran I see Fire came on the radio and I smiled and sung along to it. My mum grabbed my hand and I looked at her, I held her hand tighter and she looked at me.

"You're a brilliant singer." She said, I smiled. I didn't believe her.

"Ed Sheeran is brilliant mum, I'm nothing like him." I said, she smiled and looked at me.

"You're better. Just promise me you wont stop singing okay?" She said, I nodded and promised her. I didn't like singing infront of people, but the only people I ever sung infront of were Cara and my mum. Miranda has never heard me sing, neither my dad or sister.

We pulled up at the airport and I stared at it. I looked at mum and she had tears in her eyes. I hugged her tightly and we pulled away I smiled at her and got out the car. I walked to the trunk and opened it. I lifted up my light blue suitcase, my pink suitcase and my england flag suitcase and rolled them along the floor, mum handed me my guitar case through the back, I smiled at her, a guy came over and helped me. I closed the trunk and walked towards the doors of the airport. I turned around and looked at mum, she waved and smiled. I waved back and then walked into the airport. I was sitting down by myself waiting for my plane to be called. My suitcases had gone and my guitar, all i had was my side bag with my phone, wallet, passport and makeup in.

I was looking through the photo's on my phone, I had so many. I heard my flight being called through the intercom and I put my phone in my bag and started walking towards the plane doors when I heard my name being shouted through the airport. I turned around, hoping it was my friends, but it wasn't. 2 other girls were running after their friend called Hazel who was waiting for her flight. I tried to hold the tears back and turned and started walking into the plane. I sat down at my seat. It was a double seat for two people. I sat by the window and put my bag on the other seat. I looked out the window and saw my friends waving goodbye at the windows. I waved back and smiled at them.

"Excuse me," a deep voice said, I looked up and a guy was standing there. He had blonde hair and blue crystal eyes, he smiled and his dimples pierced through his cheekbones, "That's my seat." He said, pointing to the seat my bag was on. I moved my bag and he sat down. His cologne flowed past my nose. He looked at me and smiled. He extended his arm out. "Luke."

I shook his hand, "Hazel." I replied. He smiled and we released hands. He rested his head against the chair. I turned around and looked out the window, seeing my friends stood their. Miranda was crying into Cara's shoulder. I put my hand on the window. I stood up.

"Excuse me" I said, Luke moved his legs. I jumped over him and ran to the plane door. I ran out and into the airport. "Cara, Miranda!" I shouted. They turned around and smiled, they ran over to hug me. I didn't want to let go of the hug.

"Excuse me Mrs, but the plane is going to leave if you dont get on now." A guy said, I continued hugging them. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and throw me over their shoulder. I held onto Cara and Miranda's hands. I couldn't leave them. I cried.

"No! Let me go! I can't leave them!" I shouted, the guy kept walking, my hands slipped out of Cara and Miranda's hands. I watched them move further and further away from me and I held my arm out to them, but they just waved. Soon, they were gone. I got put down onto my seat and looked up. Luke pulled me back. "Why did you do that?"

"The plane was going to leave without you." He said, I slumped down into my chair and put my ear phones in and played my "Raindrops on my window" playlist, I named it that because its a playlist with sad music, rainy day music. I looked out the window and the plane had just taken off.

Miranda's P.O.V

Me and Cara watched the plane take off and the tears came down our face. I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and a girl about 15 years old was standing there, starstruck. She didn't say anything she just stared at me, she saw my tear stained face and she pulled out a tissue from her bag. I smiled and took it. I wiped my face and then looked at her.

"Are you okay?" She asked, I nodded and she smiled. I looked at Cara and she had tears running down her cheeks, she watched as the plane disappeared into the sky. I looked back at the girl.

"We have to go, so I'll see you around. And thank you for this." I said, holding up the tissue. She smiled and nodded.

"Anytime." She replied, I smiled at her and turned away and started walking back to the car with Cara. We were quiet the whole way home. I dropped her off at her house and hugged her. I heard thunder coming over us. We broke out the hug and I smiled at her.

"Well you better go inside, dont want to get wet." I said, she nodded and turned around walking up to her front door. She stopped in front of it and turned around.

"Are you going to be okay?" She asked, I smiled. I didn't know what to say, I was hurt. It was hard for me not to show it but I had to be strong for Cara. The rain poured down.

"Me? Yeah, I'll be okay. Don't worry about me." I said. She nodded and turned around opening her front door and walking inside. I got back in my car and drove into town. Wherever You Are by 5 seconds of summer came on and I just broke down in tears. I rested my elbow on the window and put my head against it. The tears formed a tsunami in my eyes.

I pulled over and stopped the car on the side of the road. I cried and cried. I got out my car and started walking in the rain, that way, people wouldn't realize I was crying, it would just look like rain on my cheeks and my eyes. The Christmas lights were lit up all over the city, it looked beautiful.
