1. On A Hot Summer's Day

On a hot summer's day

I'm on the bench and that's where I shall lay

The sun is shining down

It's the hottest ever town

On a hot summer's day

Little children play

Ice-cream sells like hot cakes

Especially the ones Mister Superwhip makes

On a hot summer's day

Workers use their pay

On trips to the bay

Making sure their children obey

On a hot summer's day

The queen eats her breakfast on a tray

As her birthday's in May

And people do as she says

On a hot summer's day

I'm on the on the bench and that's where I shall stay
