What If: A Harry Potter Fanfiction

Most people never knew that Sirius Black had a daughter. Understandable, because Meadow Black was kept in an anti-aging spell for 36 years. Finally, she has awoken. Finally, she is off to Hogwarts. Finally, her life has begun. But will it end soon after beginning?

(A/N: For those of you worried that the story's moving along too quickly, it's going to cover all seven of Meadow's Hogwarts years and maybe a little beyond. She'll be around for a while, don't worry.)

"I see King's Cross!" announced Scorpius, and Albus and Meadow replied by suddenly waking up.

"Really? Already?" replied Albus, stifling a yawn.

"Well, you guys have been asleep for about three hours, so it's not really something to say 'already' about." Scorpius watched out the window for his father.

Albus began to look for his mother as Meadow nervously tapped her foot to an invisible beat. The train came to a complete stop, and the exits opened.

"Come on, I see my mum and sister!" announced Al as he grabbed Meadow's wrist and dragged her off the train. Meadow gave Scorpius a wave goodbye as he disappeared into the crowd to find his parents.

"Hi, Al." Mrs. Potter greeted her son, giving him a hug.

Lily Potter hugged her older brother and immediately began asking him questions about Hogwarts. Meadow stood by awkwardly, waiting to be acknowledged.

"Hello, you must be Meadow?" Mrs. Potter turned to Meadow with a genuine smile.

"Yes, Mrs. Potter, ma'am." Meadow replied, using the pureblood manners her mother had taught her before she was put under the spell.

"Oh, no need to be so formal. You can just call me Ginny." Mrs. Potter smiled.

"Okay, M-er, Ginny." Meadow agreed uncertainly, as James joined the family.

"Hi, Mum." James greeted, but was thrown off track when his mother gave him a hug. His ears flushed red. He was one of the more popular third-years, and the idea that his mother would hug him openly made him nervous.

"We taking the car, Mum?" Al asked.

Ginny sighed. "Yes, Al. But Lily gets the front. I don't need any fighting."

Albus and James sighed dejectedly.

Ginny led the children to a silver Suburban, and Meadow sat between Al and James. She had no idea how this holiday would go, but she hoped it would go well.
