Like Crazy

Everyone thinks Julia Parker is perfect, but she is nothing close.
She is soon to be facing an arranged Marriage to her dad's close friends son, Harry Styles, though Julia wants nothing to do with him.
But, through Harry she meets Niall who she falls head over heals in love with.
They begin doing things behind Harry's back, and when he finds out, they devise a plan.
But with the wedding coming up, Julia is worried there won't be a way out.
But she can't marry Harry.
Because of Niall.
She needs him, she wants him, she loves him, like crazy.

26. "Your Mother's idea"

I woke up in Niall's arms, my favorite place to be.
He was still sound asleep, the soft light from the window illuminating his face perfectly.
I smiled to myself, enjoying the silence and being with Niall. I watched as tiny pieces of dust floating through the air, only visible due to the bright rays of the sun.
I slowly moved from Niall's grip to grab my jeans I changed out of last night And I pulled out my iPhone.
Mom: Where are you?
Mom: We have to meet with Destiny again today!
Mom: Call me.
Mom: WHERE are you??

Ugh, she was relentless.
I texted Harry, telling him to let my mom know I had stayed with him and then texted her.
I sighed and set my phone on his night stand. I was becoming a bit bored, but I didn't exactly know my way around his house, what if I ran into his parents or something?
That would be awkward.
I started playing with Niall's hair. Why did it have be so damn short?
I was reaching an intolerable level of boredom and decided to chance it with running into Niall's parents or siblings or whatever.
Is it weird that I don't know his family already? We haven't been dating for too long but still.. We love each other.
I sighed and got up from the bed, screeching when two hands pulled me back down.
He laughed and I glared at him.
"I'm getting up,"
"Noooo. Why?" He pouted.
"Because you're boring" I countered.
He pretended to be offended, "That hurt,"
"Sorry." I said, attempting to stand up.
He pulled me back down and started kissing my neck.
I hadn't told Niall, but I've never had sex. I guess that would seem obvious, since my parents are extremely strict and I don't exactly go out much.
But Niall and I have never talked about it, and when and if the time comes I'm going to have to...
He pulled me on top of him, and I wrapped my arms around his torso. He attached his lips to mine. It started getting heated, and his fingers fumbled with the hem of my shirt.
I suddenly got nervous and tensed up, something he took notice to.
"Hey, it's okay baby," he whispered.
He sat up, leaning against the headboard, and I sat on his lap straddling him.
"You know, I've never asked about your parents," I stated. He shifted uncomfortably.
"Oh uh.. We don't have to talk about it," I quickly said.
"No it's okay babe." He assured me.
I sat my head on his shoulder as he spoke.
"I live with my mom, but she works night shift at the hospital so I don't see her much. I have a brother named Greg, he was really close with my father but he uh... My dad passed away a while ago," he said.
"Oh Niall! I'm sorry," I said, softly.
"Don't worry about it. I didn't know him very well, but somehow I feel like I did, you know?"
I nodded slightly.
"Anyway. My moms always been really hard on me. Wants me to get good grades and whatnot. That can get quite annoying," he laughed.
"You're telling me!" I responded.
He squeezed me in a tight hug before letting go.
"You want breakfast?"
"Nah I should go. I have to meet with- uh.. Some business thing with my dad," I stuttered. "And my mother will most likely kill me for not calling her."
"Call me, okay?" He said.
I nodded, crawling off the bed and reluctantly pulling my skinny jeans back on.
"Those jeans make your ass look nice," he said.
"Shut up!" I said, throwing a pillow at him.
He only laughed, dodging it. "I love you," i said, coming to his side of the bed and kissing him.
"I love you too" he said.
I exited the room, being sure he got a good look at my back side on the way out.
I quietly opened the door, walking upstairs.
A part of me was still thinking about Lilly, and I was relieved Niall hadn't asked about what happened. He comforted me and stayed with me when I needed him- no questions asked. Niall was the only thing holding me together. Without having Lilly, and my parents shoving a wedding down my throat I was feeling like I was going to snap.
I walked up go my room, dreading having to do any wedding prep today. I liked Destiny, but I think I'd like her more if she wasn't planning my unwanted wedding.
"Julia! Are you home?" My mother yelled up the stairs.
"Yes mom!" I called back.
"We're leaving now!" She called.
I rolled my eyes and walked down the stairs, grateful that she hadn't questioned my whereabouts- yet that is.
"Come on, come on now we'll be late," my mother said, pushing me in the direction of the car.
I quickly got inside.
"Guess what you get to do today?" My mother squealed, starting the car.
"What?" I sighed, pretending to care as I rested my head against the window.
"Destiny and I hired you a professional dance teacher! He's going to teach you to ballroom dance!"
Why was she so excited about this?
"Oh um.. Sounds fun?"
"I thought you'd say so." She smiled.
We arrived at the dance studio my mom had scrawled on a piece of paper.
Harry and Destiny were already there.
"I told you we'd be late," my mother muttered.
"Hello! My name is Maria and today we will learn the fine art of ballroom dance!" The dance teacher said, upon entrance to the room.
Okay, she looked like a weirdo.
"Shall we begin?" She asked.
Harry and I looked at each other and then to Destiny.
"In my defence, it was your mothers idea..."
