Like Crazy

Everyone thinks Julia Parker is perfect, but she is nothing close.
She is soon to be facing an arranged Marriage to her dad's close friends son, Harry Styles, though Julia wants nothing to do with him.
But, through Harry she meets Niall who she falls head over heals in love with.
They begin doing things behind Harry's back, and when he finds out, they devise a plan.
But with the wedding coming up, Julia is worried there won't be a way out.
But she can't marry Harry.
Because of Niall.
She needs him, she wants him, she loves him, like crazy.

13. "Really? Mines a Unicorn,"

"So you kissed him?" Lilly gushed.
I was on my way home from Niall's house when Lilly saw me leaving and forced me to spill.
"More than once," I added quietly.
"Oh my gosh! But what about Harry?"
"There's nothing to say about him. He likes that.. Makenzie and I like Niall, and that's all there is to it," I said firmly.
"Huh," she nodded, clearly not believing me.
"Did u hear Louis broke up with his girlfriend?" She added.
I gasped, "No why?"
"Because of Hannah, I guess," she responded.
This caused me to laugh, "Hannah?"
She was always nice and innocent around us, so the thought that she caused Louis and Eleanor to brake up after dating for so long was bizarre.
"Thats all I know," She told me.
"I wonder how Eleanor found out..." I said, more to myself than her.
"The world may never know!" She said, dramatically.
I laughed.
"I should head home,"
She nodded.
"When are you going to be seeing lover boy again?" She asked as we walked to the door.
"We're supposed to be going out tomorrow night, but that depends on Harry," I told her.
She knew about Harry and I's little deal, of course.
"Have fun," she smiled.
I nodded, walking out the door.
Harry's POV:
Luckily my mom didn't mention anything to my dad about Kenzie, because I knew he would freak out.
It was going to be hard to keep seeing Kenzie, seeing as how my parents hated her.
Julia texted me, saying she was going out with Niall, which meant I would have to go out somewhere to make it all believable.
I've texted Kenzie non stop these last few days, and I think I really liked her.
She had work tomorrow night, so we couldn't go out however.
I thought I could just hang out somewhere on the other side of town for a while.
I didn't want to tell Julia that she just couldn't go out with Niall.
My mother and Julia's mother have been talking a lot, which is starting to worry me, and I don't even know why.
Niall's POV:
I opened the mailbox and quickly went through envelopes.
I had been accepted to a few colleges already but I applied to one in London Recently.
I sent my application in way later than usual, but because of my grades they accepted it anyway.
I wanted to go so badly, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of the letter any day.
If I did get accepted I would have to leave a month early, and I wasn't exactly sure how to break that to Julia. Especially since I was just beginning to trust her.
I went inside, yelling to see if anyone was home.
My father died when I was extremely young, so I don't have many memories of him.
I knew he was close with Greg, but neither my mom or Greg will talk about him.
My mom was a nurse, and she often worked night shift so she slept most of the day and worked all night, so I didn't see her too often.
My brother, Greg, was already in college, so it was just my mom and I.
Well, mainly I.
It didn't bother me that she was gone a lot, because I often got to do what I wanted, when I wanted to do it.
I went upstairs, grabbing my phone off my desk.
Juliaaa: Bored... Can't wait for tomorrow night :p
Nialler: Why don't you come over?
Juliaaa: Lol. My parents would kill me :(
Nialler: Do they have to know?

Julia's POV:
Niall's last thought really made me think. And laugh.
What a little rebel he was.
I really did want to see him.. I was extremely bored.
My father had company and I was ordered to stay in my room until 7:30.
I had been wondering around my room, randomly picking things off of the floor or straightening picture frames.
I could easily sneak out...
My room had an overhanging terrace attached, and my parents definitely wouldn't be checking on me so it would be incredibly easy to sneak out.
But believe it or not, I've never snuck out before.
Shocking. I know.
I laughed to myself, thinking of the things my mother would say if she ever found out.
Oh what a bad influence that boy is... Bet he has tattoos... And smokes too... Ugh. That kind of parenting...
Thinking about it only made my choice feel so clear.
I locked my door, stepped out onto the terrace, and swung one leg over the edge.
Niall's POV:
It was ten minuets later before Julia replied to my text.
Juliaaa: Open the door it's hot out here!!!
I smiled, rushing down to open the door.
My mom had gone to work already. Although I knew she would have loved to meet Julia, we haven't known each other very long and I didn't want to creep her out.
I opened the door, and Julia leaped inside before I could even say hello.
"Woah there, tiger," I laughed.
"Hah. That's my favorite animal," she replied.
"Really? Mine's a unicorn," I informed me.
She laughed at that.
"Really? You do know that unicorns aren't real, yeah?"
I gasped,"You take that back,"
"Sorry, but it's the truth," she said, crossing her arms over her chest.
I came up to her, tickling her and causing her to laugh uncontrollably.
"Niall...S-s-STOP!" She breathed.
I shook my head, although she was looking at the ground so she couldn't see me.
"Not until you take it back!"
Man, she was stubborn.
It took less than thirty more seconds of tickling before she gave in. Ha.
"FINE! I take it back!"
"Really? And what do you take back now?" I asked, acting clueless.
"Unicorns... ARE REAL!" She shouted.
I stopped tickling her, and now I started laughing.
"I never thought I would argue with my girlfriend about unicorns,"
"I'm not your girlfriend," she informed me.
I put my arms around her waist, hugging her from behind.
"No... But you could be," I whispered into her ear.
"Nice try, Horan. But we've only been on two dates, and I want you to ask me romantically," she said, turning around to look me in the eye.
"Romantic huh?" I said, raising an eyebrow and rubbing the stubble on my chin.
"Yup." She replied, popping the p.
"Well I guess we'll have to see about that,"
Kenzie's POV:
I layed in bed, groaning as the thought of what happened two days ago circled in my head for probably the thousandth time.
Lets just say, I got not only fired but banned from the country club, and with the big mouth of my employer, I would be lucky if I got a job in this town again.
What I did didn't seem that drastic to me, and that little bitch Hannah started it all anyway.
She came up to the bar, just as Harry was leaving.
She sat down at the bar, looking annoyingly innocent.
"Oh my gosh... Makenzie?" She gasped as soon as she saw me.
"Hannah," I snapped back at her.
She looked hurt, but I could tell she wasn't.
"I haven't seen you in so long! How have you been?" She kept rambling.
"Just fine until about... Right now," I replied.
"Someone's cranky..."
I shot her a glare, "Maybe it's because I don't exactly fancy talking to a boyfriend stealing bitch,"
Hannah rolled her eyes.
"Louis doesn't even like her. He told me himself,"
"Whatever. Give me one reason to trust you," Kenzie said.
"Listen. I know you don't like me and I sure as hell don't like you, but there's something I know that you don't, and it's only fair I tell you," she said.
I grabbed a rag and began washing down the bar in circular motions.
"Again, why should I trust you?"
"It's about Harry," she said.
Harry... I didn't care if it was true or not, but I wanted to hear this.
"Fine," I sighed, filling another shot glass.
"He kissed Julia the SAME day you two went out," she whispered.
I gasped.
"Your lying,"
"Makenzie, do you think I would avoid an opportunity to hurt Harry?" She reasoned.
She had a valid point.
Her and Harry had a terrible past, and any chance she had to do something bad to him, she snatched up instantly.
I turned away, unwilling to talk to her again.
She smiled smugly, drinking a bit before gravitating over to the dance floor.
The bar calmed down, and soon later it was empty.
This meant It was almost time to go home.
I rested my elbows on the bar, looking over at the dace floor.
My blood was boiling.
It was Louis.
And it was Hannah.
And they were dancing. Together.
That's it. That was all I could take of this girl. She had pissed me off beyond belief.
Part of it was my anger towards Harry right now, part of it was the fact that Eleanor was torn up inside because of Ignorant little cunt, and part of it was that Hannah and Louis were dancing together after all of this that's happened, but I grabbed the nearest glass pitcher, and filled it to the rim.
I walked over to Hannah, and smashed it straight over her head. I received horrified looks from every sober person in the room.
There was blood everywhere, because the pitcher had broke. Hannah was soaked on the floor.
"And next time I see your face, it'll be a lot worse," I spat.
I walked confidently to the back, grabbed my purse and sweatshirt, and quickly scribbled my resignation down.
Because they couldn't fire me if I had already quit.
*End of flashback*
I was now beginning to think of Harry.
Did he really kiss Julia?
I didn't want to believe it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.
I knew they'd had a 'thing', but he told me it was over...
I didn't personally know Julia, but I didn't like her already.
I tried not to be judgmental of her, but it's hard to like someone who kissed your...
Harry wasn't my boyfriend.. So I guess he can kiss whoever he wants.
But fortunately that goes both ways.
