2. Lunch

          One Year Later

"Come on, Lindsay, just tell me!" Aj, my best friend, repeated.

"I can't! Harry told me it was meant to be a secret..."

"Please, Lindsay don't give me that bull crap,"

Aj and I were seated at the lunch table in the back of the cafeteria. Right next to the door, and in a perfect position to stare at the hottest boys in school. Harry. He practically bounced out of the food line and sat down next to Niall and his friends (Zayn, Louis, Liam and...)

"Who's that other kid sitting with Harry and them?" I asked Aj.

She pivoted her neck around and shot back, ready to spill her gossip, "That's Alan. Supposedly Niall's new friend he met in  Woodshop,"

I looked at him the best I could without straining my neck. He had short, blonde hair (similar to Niall's), blue eyes, and a cute dimple. I watched as he stealthily robbed Liam of his roll. In return, Liam slapped him on the hand and proceeded to eat his lunch.

"Oh, and don't think that you're off the hook. You changing the topic isn't going to keep me from finding out what the secret is," Aj grinned and I lost my concentration on the boy's table.

"Niall got braces, ya happy?" I blurted out. I quickly shoved some of my sandwich into my mouth.

"Hah! Wow, imagine what it would be like to kiss him now!" Aj laughed and a few of the surrounding tables looked over at us. We must look like idiots.

"It'd probably still be fantastic..." I said. She ignored me and continued to laugh, "Look, I've told you several times, even though I wasn't in love with Niall, he was still an amazing kisser,"

"And you're making this decision off of the fact that during the entire kiss, you were trying to push him off?"

At that moment, the fire alarm went off. People stood like cattle and ran for the door, which was conveniently placed right next to our table. Ugh. We've had dozens of fire drills already.

When I stood up, some one bumped into me, "Hey, watch it," I turned to see Alan looking down at me.

Wow he was tall, don't forget cute.

"You may want to stop fussing at me and get out the door," he pushed me and giggled.

"And why would I do that?"

"Oh, I have my reasons to believe that this fire is real,"

What? "How do you know that?"

"Ask Harry and Louis... They started it,"
